Welcome to Bruin Coffee. Please note we do not have inside seating. We are Pagosa Springs’ drive through donut and coffee shop. We have cold brew and espresso lattes, chai, matcha, drip coffee, black and green tea, as well as special drinks you won’t find anywhere else in Pagosa. Our donuts are made fresh everyday and are gluten free and air fried! We also offer homemade buttermilk biscuit sandwiches, as well as croissant sandwiches for lunch.

It’s an actual Drive-Thru can’t get off an order inside. We did try their chocolate and pecan donut. Macha and hibiscus tea as well.

I’m sure there are other reviews stating this (that I clearly failed to read, but it’s also not advertised at the location very well) but this coffee spot is a drive thru only! The sign out front does say drive thru but putting “drive thru only” might help? My boyfriend and I aren’t local so we spent a couple minutes walking around before an employee came out and said we could order at the window around the building lol.
Anyway, we got a donut, a couple of breakfast sandwiches and I got a coffee. Food was very good! Biscuit breakfast sandwiches were pretty greasy… if you don’t mind that, they were excellent. And the donut! Cake donut texture. Very good & gluten free. Got the blueberry maple and wow! Super good.
I wouldn’t say the coffee is super high end or artisanal but pretty down the middle, standard from what I’d expect at a drive through place. Would definitely come here again or recommend to anyone passing through!

Went here specifically to try out their gluten-free donuts as have celiac disease. They are amazing! They were out of the lavendar when I arrived, but got a half dozen to try all flavors they had. Husband and I also got a fresh squeezed, organic orange juice which tasted like they used a sweet orange. Will definitely come back when in the area again!!

Coffee was amazing and so were the sandwiches. I had the ham and Gruyère with the fig jam and the Happy camper iced coffee. Would be nice if the seating area were a little more stable. Definitely would come again!

I ended up at Bruins every day of my stay in Pagosa. The convenience of a drive through, is just top notch. Their coffee was great, the peach iced tea was also great, service was fast and easy, and we left woth their cute beanies. The logo being a bear on a skateboard just stole my heart.

Visiting from Phoenix, AZ. I have tried lots of coffee shops, love Higher Grounds, but Bruin is INCREDIBLE. If I were on my death bed, I would request a maple blueberry mochi donut – it is addicting. The coffee is high quality, and delicious, too. I love the pumpkin spice & the happy camper! My husband tried the wild berry refresher, also delicious. Highly recommend!!! Will be back the next time we visit.

I had the brown sugar vanilla cold brew, a chocolate donut, and a maple blueberry donut. The cold brew wasn’t a hit for me personally, but the donuts definitely were. I also loved the maple blueberry better than the chocolate even though I’m normally a big chocolate person. The service was exceptional in friendliness. I’ll be back for more donuts and to try the espresso!
