This is the best restaurant I have been to in a very long time. It is so good that we make a special trip there every week from Ottumwa. The food is wonderful. I try to get a different dish every time. The gnocchi, “Cheesy Cheesy” is the best gnocchi I have ever tasted. The panini are also the best I have ever had. I love their cannoli, croissants, and Tiramisu. Oh…I forgot the lasagna – best lasagna since I last visited Italy. This place is not to be missed! If you like Italian food, this is the place to go! Also, they are very nice people! So glad to go there.

The place is a small Italian restaurant run by two Italians, and it fully lived up to my expectations. They are kind and friendly, and the service was excellent. As an Italian, I would say that finding authentic Italian cuisine in Oskaloosa was a pleasant surprise. I highly recommend trying their sandwiches, which are definitely excellent, and the fries as a side dish were also excellent. I also recommend trying their specialities such as lasagne and cannoli, which are authentically Italian.

Place is in the mall now like a real mall but for this town it’s the mall besides that. The food is really really amazing. Traditional home made Italian food. I got the lasagna cause the croutons and garlic before the dinner comes and then you get the food and it came with bread as . Yes they are from Italy at that. I highly recommend trying them out. Definitely going back I know the menu changes or it’s being changed. But here is the picture of the menu they had at the time.

Food was pretty good. We had the lasagna, bruschetta, and a panini. Environment felt nostalgic. Atmosphere didn’t feel like fine dining by any means. Honestly seems kind of overpriced for the experience. Owners were nice.

The atmosphere is welcoming and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. But the strong point of the place is definitely the kitchen. In this place you will have the opportunity to taste typical traditional italian . Last night I tasted the dish Lasagna and it was an explosion of flavors. I was on holiday a week ago to see my relatives and my husband and I discovered this very nice and well-kept restaurant owned by two Italian spouses!
the place is really clean and comfortable, the owners are very kind, plus the menu really offers Italian dishes cooked to order with the freshest ingredients just like at home! I also recommended it to my uncles who will surely try the excellent lasagna and the pastiera!!!
