Rockafellas Sports Bar, located at the fork of Paterson Avenue and Hoboken Road in East Rutherford, is perhaps the only bar that applies to the classic Yogi Berraism “When you see a fork in the road, take it”. In either case, whichever way you go, you’ll find it. Rockafellas is one of those places that one would like right away. Jess the daytime bartender is a treasure, and one of those magnetic personalities that keeps people wanting to stay. They have a fine selection of tap beers at reasonable prices, great food from the grill, my favorite being their cheese steaks. On the upper side in back, there is pool table and tables for eating on. They also have outside tables for enjoying your food upon in good weather. The crowd there is a friendly and fun loving crowd. And don’t forget, there are numerous TV sets to watch your favorite sports events on. This is one great place to go to.

Walked in and was immediately uncomfortable. I left and took my money elsewhere. If you have dark skin I wouldn’t recommend this place . Sad but true . It’s like whoever was behind the bar didn’t even want to serve me .

I generally love this place. I come here usually to cap the night because of the relaxed atmosphere and usually affordable drinks.
Tonight I came in with two friends, and I believe the bartenders thought we were drunk, they proceeded to treat us as such, and tried to over charge us, adding extra drinks to our tab, as well as extra bogus fees. I was appalled with the final bill, and questioned them on it. They were clueless of the actual validity and what was real on the bill themselves, so they proceeded to grab some random amount of cash and place it in my hand and tried to be done with it.
A WILD example of a bar trying to take advantage of its clientele. I legitimately could not believe what was happening, and a clear illegal overcharge.
Unreal behavior and super unprofessional. I am so disappointed.

The place is a regular sports bar. It wasn’t too crowded. Maybe because of Covid. The bartender was friendly. The foods were delicious. The prices are reasonable.

This place is the greatest place on earth. On a scale from one to ten I would rank it a ten and a half. Solely based on the smokin hot bartender’s extraordinary attention to the tiniest of details. She mispronounced my name over and overr again but it doesn’t matter because… five stars. And that’s that. Also, try the fresh n zesty teriyaki wings. Guaranteed to take you back to some place in southeast Asia that…you’ve probably never been to. Me Love You Long Time! Oh yes!

Aside from the parking, this is a nice spot. The fellow customers are friendly and entertaining, the drinks are good, the prices aren’t going to bulge your eyes in either direction, nice decor and good juke box. For any of you fellow dive bar connoisseurs who see the label sports bar and think that it might not be your thing, this spot definitely has the dive vibe down, they just happen to have some games going on the TVs but that does not dominate the decor or the ambience. There are a lot of great dives in the general area. Make this one one of your stops and you won’t be disappointed.

Great place, recently renovated. The owner Rocco is a good guy, the cook Enrique is the real deal. Excellent menu, great food, premium beer on tap. Also there are tables in the back for dinning, family oriented. Plus a great staff of bar tenders. Definitely recommend.
