I was in the mood for rib tips but they didnt have a rib tip plate. I ordered the three meat plate with all rib tips. He said it would be maybe half a pound and the sides were included, no extra charge.
The sides were very small. 2-4oz. Fit in my hand.
Corn and Greens.
The ribs tips and sides were in a half size food container, not the large size one. The rib tips only filled half of that container. Not a lot of food at all!! That size container should have been all rib tips. Especially if it was supposed to be half a pound.
Tips were tender though. Sauce wasn’t very thick. Oily, thin sauce. Kind of Tasty though.
I wouldn’t go back for my BBQ needs. Stick to Ashleys, the Public Market, Speed Queen and so on

I tried this restaurant in support of “Black Restaurant Week”, I got the Beef Brisket meal, the Brisket, Brisket Baked Beans & the Greens were all good, but I didn’t like the fat around the edges of the Brisket, (not a lot of fat overall though which was good), & there could have been more barbecue sauce on the meat, & the side dish portions were way too small for a $17 meal, & the wife/owner could have been friendlier in our brief interaction, the husband/owner was more personable……I would try them out again & maybe try the Brisket Sandwich.

I went to have some ribs, but they weren’t done cooking. You’d think A bbq place that opens at 11am would have their ribs and tips ready by opening. Especially seeing it’s lunch time for many.
I had to settle for the brisket. It wasn’t flavorful to my liking or any one’s for that matter. For it being 11am, it tasted old and warmed up. Not enough sauce on the meat which tasted more burnt than anything.
The sides came in a sauce cup like many other restaurants getting over. The potato salad had to have been the worst thing on the plate. Too much pickle juice and not enough seasoning to balance it off. I had such high hopes for this place, especially since the pics looked really good. But yea I won’t be back.

Junior’s Smoked BBQ catered through fooda today at my work and provided some of the best Brisket and mac and cheese I have ever had. If you have a chance and are thinking about it check them out it worth it.

I picked up food from the Strawberry Fest in Cedarburg earlier today. Absolutely disgusting food!! $15 for rib tips that I carried around because I didn’t want to throw away my money (which I did eventually) . The meat was greasy, underseasoned and tasted worse. When trying to support black businesses goes wrong.

My girlfriend and I visited their brick and mortar location, which was the second time we were blessed with their BBQ, having gotten it before at their mobile stand at Shorewoods farmers market in estabrook park. So far we have tried their brisket, bbq rib tips, pulled pork, and smoked corn beef sandwich (which was their special yesterday). Everything has been absolutely delicious! So far my girlfriend and I favorite dish has been the rib tips. As someone who makes his own BBQ, I have to say that the BBQ sauce on those tips is A1.

Burnt dried out food.Barely any sauce on food. Beef was so charred and black Falsifying pork ribs for beef in order to make a sell. Doesn’t take accountability. Very poor customer. If your looking for a visit to the hospital this is your place to go to they will surely send you

We visited this restaurant when we went back to Wisconsin to see family at the end of 2023. OMG we loved their food, atmosphere and service. I talked with the owners and will definitely go back when we return to Wisconsin.
