I went here with a friend for an early dinner after an event at Playhouse Square a couple weeks ago. The food was fine. However, I am physically disabled and use a mobility scooter to get around. I managed to park my scooter in one corner of the restaurant but was told that I could not leave it there because they intended to seat another party at that table. I was told that I would need to sit on my scooter at a different table in the long narrow row of tables. Since that would mean that I would not be facing the table (the scooter is too large to fit under the table in the way that a wheelchair can sometimes be used as a seat if there are no other options), I sort of wedged it next to my table for the duration of the meal. By the time we finished eating, the restaurant was crowded and I had quite a struggle to reposition the scooter in such a way so that I could exit the restaurant. The other patrons were clearly irritated, since none of them would budge to allow me to turn the scooter around. Unfortunately, the restaurant staff also offered no assistance, instead watching me struggle to leave with my dignity intact. I would caution other diners who rely on mobility devices to avoid this venue. It is not easily accessible

Our family shared a perfect dinner at this location. We were greeted with the most friendly waitress and the kindness did not stop! While looking over the menu we were brought a complimentary crab salad on greens to share which was delicious. Our waitress was super knowledgeable and helpful for all the questions we had. Started off with some vegetable dumplings which were consumed too fast to snap a photo! Then we had some delicious sushi. The waitresses also gave us mochi ice cream on the house ❤️. Such a prefect dining, thank you!

The food was tasty and presentable. The staff was kind and welcoming. The Chicken Udon was very filling. The Sushi En was delicious with each bite and the Takoyaki was savory and yummy. Worth the trip.

Party of 7, 6pm reservation for a friend’s birthday. To be fair, some of us got there later, but those who arrived first were there for 40 minutes and were not even offered water and were told to seat themselves. We informed the server that we had a 7:30 show and asked for someone to come over to take our orders. Fast forward over an hour of sitting and waiting and no one had taken our order or brought water to the table. This is after I walked over and very politely asked for assistance several times. One server passed by multiple times and simply ignored our attempts at speaking with her. We watched as she took the orders of two tables of two who sat down after us and got their food right away. The other server frantically tried to get our food out after we ordered. Food was decent, wish we had time to enjoy it, and water to drink. They forgot to put in the birthday girls order. If you have a show, make sure you have ample time. We had to RUN to our show as our food arrived at 7:20 despite our many requests for timeliness and basic service. Be mindful that the restrooms are downstairs one flight and I did not see elevators around for those who have accessibility needs.

We had high expectations for this place since it had a 4.7 rating. The food and atmosphere did NOT live up to the rating.
We ordered the beef and chicken bibimbap, and we were highly disappointed. The meat portions were chopped in tiny pieces. The beef was scarce and dry. The chicken was also scarce and dry.
The only thing really good was the seaweed salad.
The prices were a bit high for what you get.
The service was fast and decent.
There was major work going on, on the outside of the building at the time, so the look of the front of the restaurant was under major construction.

Me and brother are visiting for a few days and this was the first place we decided to try.Got in there real quick and had a waiter come to us almost immediately.Incredible customer service and was really trying to help us figure out what we wanted. Food came out at a fair time and atmosphere was great.But ofc the food was amazingg!! Highly recommend you try this place! However prices were pretty high for what you get but still very much worth it!!!

Nice enough if you need a quick taste of Japan. Make sure to come on WEEK DAYS if you want bento for lunch. Staff was nice.
I was not impressed by the ramen in my first couple of bites what so ever. That was until I actually started to dig near the bottom where all the flavor was at. Then it was alright.
Mixing is difficult with how much noodles are in the bowl so I might suggest the chefs add some extra seasoning and flavor to the top of the bowl right before serving to help out not leaving a bad first impression.
