5 and Dime isn’t just for baddies! It’s for everyone. I love that this place is locally owned by a family who truly seems to love their business and the community they both nurture and help create. Thrifty, nifty, a touch of bougie in all the right places (fancy and creative cocktails). This is a good spot to go and sit at the bar and have a chat. Also good for events, LGBTQIA safe space.

Great old fashioneds and pulled pork sandwiches on Thursdays! We went on a recommendation and really enjoyed the cocktails and draft beer. I had a few quarters so was obligated to do the nostalgic thing and get some Skittles and M&M’s out of the candy machines. We’re looking forward to martinis and weenies on a Wednesday night! The mocktail menu also looks really legit–hope to try that as well.

Have visited here twice – once for a drink before a show at deep dive and had a great few beers and game of pool. Recently came for happy hour and ended up staying for a few hours. Cocktails are spot on, well done and priced well. Beer list is great. Excited to see what food they bring on soon! Great bartenders and vibe.

I discovered this place accidentally while out and about, and I gotta say, I’m glad I did! The atmosphere is perfect and they have a great selection of draft beer and good whiskey. Plus they have a pool table and table top shuffle board. It’s the perfect place for a group to wind down after work!

A relatively new bar tucked away on Ithaca’s West side. (behind Maxie’s – perfect for an after dinner drink and snack). Chill crowd and friendly bartenders. Has an old school (5&Dime) feel to it. The place is still finding its niche, but has quickly jumped on the rotation for us on the weekends.
Nice beer and liquor selection. My favorite part might be the table shuffleboard. A fun change of pace from pool and darts.
Don’t forget the snacks! – Cakes, pies and treats from Rashida Sawyer bakery. Best desert and drink combo you can find in Ithaca!
