A quaint eatery near Kal Beach, there was limited seating but don’t let this deter you. The pasta here tastes fresh and al dente and the portion size to price is very reasonable. The quality of the sauce is also top-notch; it evokes the sense of a home cooked meal.
Shared the lasagna, their pasta of the day – arrabbiata with fettucine, and tiramisu. The pastas came with soft, aromatic focaccia bread and it was so good dipped in the arrabbiata. Super yummy! Would definitely come back again.

Amazing food! 100% will be going again. The lasagna is amazing, the fresh focaccia is delicious, ceaser salad so good! I don’t know why it’s taken me so long to get food from here. Recommend 100%!

Cute small little restaurant. They have a drive through and a tiny shelf/table you can sit inside. There were two very friendly and kind men running the store. When I arrived there was 1 person in drive through and 3 people inside. These workers got everyone out of there so quickly! It was great efficient service. After taking my order it was ready in under 10 minutes. Hot items were packaged seperate from the cold items. The worker opened my salad after purchase to put fresh croutons and parmesan in so everything was crunchy and fresh to eat. The pasta dishes come with focaccia bread which is delicious! I got the penne with italian sausage and 2 meatballs just to try the flavor. The pasta was cooked perfectly al dente. The meatballs were so flavorful and you get 1 whole Italian sausage! The desert was very nice as well. A little sweet for me to eat in one sitting but it was still just as good the next day. I really enjoyed my visit here.

Never had drive through Italian. Had the Italian sausage with tomatoe sauce and penne noodles. Incredible.food and free biscotti for desert . No valpolicetta to go unfortunately lol it not Louisiana

This is my 121st eatery in Vernon on my quest to eat at every eatery in Vernon.
I always walk by Jenalio’s on the way to Kal Beach or Alexander’s for trivia.
I finally gave it a try on July 19 2023.
I came in ten minutes before closing. The owners still took time to explain their expansive Italian menu.
I appreciated the map of Italy on the front door. I couldn’t find the tiny village in Calabria where my cousins and ancestors are from, though.
I paid $17ish for their Pasta of the Day (bolognese) and a can of ginger ale.
Since they were about to close, I didn’t ask if I could eat inside on the ledge or the outdoor table.
Therefore, I walked to Kal Beach and ate it at a picnic table. It tasted really good.
I highly recommend this spot. I found the prices very reasonable.
I only like Italian food when visiting Italy, but Jenalio’s is one of the rare exceptions.

VERY disappointed with my first time trying this place 🙁
They don’t have accurate prices listed online anywhere, it was over $50 for two pastas that taste like they were from a can.
Stale focaccia with it aswell.
10/10 do not recommend

I adore quaint family-owned restaurants and this one exceeded expectations.
When I arrived, the gentleman kindly recommended a sauce and allowed me to test try it (so kind of him)
The flavours were so delicious!!!
We ordered the Arrabiata spaghetti with meatballs and the Sundried Tomato Cream Sauce with fettuccine and sausage.
The only downside? – I wanted more!
We will be back, when we are in town.
