This hurts my heart and soul to post a 1 star review. Krystals has always been a favorite fast food choice of mine for over 30 years now. This last visit, black Friday, I had not had any burgers in months so I was extra excited to get to eat here. Mine closed down a few years ago where I live. The lady who took my order inside seemed agitated with having to train another lady. She wasn’t unfriendly, but just not happy in general. Which is never a deal breaker for me. There was nobody else at the store at that time inside our at the drive through. After waiting 10 minutes, I knew for sure I was getting freshly cooked crystals. I spent $30 on 15 cheese crystals. I took the bags, jumped in my car, and we headed to my grandparents house. We could not wait to eat so right after we pulled out onto the steet we grabbed a burger. I was SO disappointed… the burgers tasted like they were cooked hours earlier then kept under a warmer? But then left out?.. The bread was crunchy on the outside and soggy where it must have sat in the boxes a long time… The meat, so dry it broke into pieces.. the cheese I I paid extra for was slapped on after I guess but wasn’t melted because the burger was so cold…. I’ve eaten at least 500 krystals in my life time.. always cheese krystals.. and this by far is the worst I’ve ever had… and this literally used to be my favorite fast food place of all time to eat I wish you could hear the crunchy bread and taste the soggy parts and the cold dried out meat its gonna be hard to go back to this location….

I am not sure why Crystal exist anymore. It took 30 minutes to get to Crystle burgers that were soaking wet. Not a chance in hell I was gonna eat them. Last time I came to Crystle‘s the food was bad. As a kid, I used to love crystals, but that was then and this is now. There’s no reason for Crystle to exist.

Love me some Krsytals! Wish there was one closer to me. Was in the area for a dr apt and lunch after and seen Krsytals &there was no doubt where I was eating after that! Lol Ordered the 12 pk so I could eat some then and later as the closest Krsytals to me is an hour away. Enjoyed it and the employees was kind and helpful!

I asked for no mustard and they put extra mustard. I asked about it and was told they can’t make changes to the food, take it or leave it, but there are no refunds. There fridge was open when I walked in and there clerk made no effort to close it. They boxed the food with no gloves after cleaning tables with a dirty rag. I couldn’t tell if the cook had gloves besides you can’t see the kitchen.

On the rare occasion I come across a Krystal, I visit for the nostalgia of what it used to be. As I entered this Krystal in Pascagoula, MS, I heard a blood-curdling scream followed by the laughter of 3 or 4 female employees in the cooking area. I then saw the employee (with very long braids) who’d screamed. She then screamed & laughed again. Another employee (very short hair) literally threw herself against the wall in laughter. They were laughing & talking amongst themselves while I tried to get their attention so I could order. It took a few moments for one of them (tall woman, manager?) to acknowledge me & send that first employee to take my order.
I placed my order. The employee turned around & went back to talking with the others, including the manager. I waited. As the employee gave me my order, I asked for catsup & let her know there was none on my side of the condiments’ caddy — so it could be refilled. She rolled her eyes, gave me some catsup from the drive-thru area, & returned to talking & laughing with the other employees who, apparently, were hired to chat & laugh while on the clock.
I sat at a table. A few minutes later, 4 construction workers sat at the table next to me. Each one had something wrong with their order. One man (in gray shirt) ordered something topped with bacon. He took 1 bite & grimaced, saying it didn’t taste right. The man in blue across from him took a piece of the bacon to try it & spat it out, saying, “That is rancid!”
I took the photos on my way out. I was there over 30 minutes, & the condiments’ caddy was still nearly empty. But the employees were still having a great time talking & laughing amongst themselves.
I don’t know if nostalgia will convince me to eat the overpriced food at a Krystal the next time I find one in my travels, but I am definitely not going inside. I will sit in my car with my A/C on, rather than experience this immature behaviour from grown adults being paid to work.

My experience was good. However, it wasn’t busy, so why is the cheese always hanging halfway off the burger? And why are the buns hard and crunchy on the edges? These are not specific to this location, but every location I’ve been to.

I don’t know who the management team is but they are super gross. We went thier to door dash and it doesn’t look like anyone cleans at all. They still have thier Christmas stuff up. I don’t know how in the world they still operate a business. Everytime I see a dash from krystals. Ima skip it. Trust me, no one needs to get sick.
