Great food. Friendly service. My daughter got the make your own bowl. She gives it a 8.8 out of 10. I got the Ghallaba which was good but I like my daughter’s meal even more. I would give it an 8.2. I never tried it before so always good to try something different. Course the bread is huge and baked perfectly. We will be back

I give the food 4 star because as much we like it but it just miss the flavor. The rice need more flavors to be on top level.

I had an amazing experience with Yemeni cuisine! The dishes were full of flavor and perfectly cooked. The lamb soup was rich and comforting, the bread was warm and fresh, and the mixed rice with beef and chicken was very satisfying. The lamb rice was tender and aromatic, and the vegetable salad was refreshing and balanced the meal beautifully. Everything tasted authentic and delicious. The taste is very balance.I will definitely come back again!

What a great post-graduation meal!

We were in the Ann Arbor area and ended up here in search of authentic Middle Eastern food. It is very much worth the drive.

-Special shout out to Ali who took great care of us! Our meal was based on his recommendations. He made sure our bread bowl was always filled and even gave me cheesecake for my graduation ☺️ We also tried Fahsa (Yemeni Stew) for the first time thanks to him and it was amazing!

-The bread is made in house and comes to you fresh out the oven.

-We arrived early (11:00) and the lamb was still cooking, but it was very much worth the wait (<30mins). Plus, we were occupied with the bread, Baba ganoush, Toum (Garlic), falafel and salad so it wasn’t a big deal. Honestly, the appetizers alone already satisfied us but the feast just barely started.

-The lamb was fall off the bone tender and so flavorful. The kebabs were seasoned well. The fries were perfectly crispy. No words, just quiet eating for my family during our meal

-Guaranteed you will come away with so much leftovers!! The food was more than enough for 5 people.

My wife and I planned to have iftar here because our last visit a few months ago was excellent; the food and service were both great. As someone who worked in restaurants for over 10 years, I understand Ramadan can be demanding for staff, so I stopped in ahead of time to politely ask about wait times and whether they would be serving iftar.

Unfortunately, my interaction with the owner (wearing a black chef outfit) was extremely disappointing. Instead of answering simple questions professionally, he responded with sarcasm and unnecessary comments about my wife and about spending money. The tone was immature and disrespectful, especially considering I was trying to plan a meal. We had been fasting all day, and the last thing anyone expects is to be spoken to that way when they walk into a restaurant.

The restaurant was nearly empty at the time, so this was not a matter of being overwhelmed or busy; it was simply poor customer service. It honestly felt like he did not want our business, so we left.

It’s unfortunate because the food here is genuinely very good, but professionalism and respect toward customers matter just as much. Based on this experience, they lost a customer.

I ate here for the first time today with three friends and we enjoyed the company and the food so much we didn’t take a single picture.

We decided to order a variety of appetizers. We got a large fattoush and a small tabbouli, a large hummus and a small mama ganoush, an order of vegetarian grape leaves, an order of falafel, add an order of mujadara.

It was all delicious. The food was fresh and the flavors were well-balanced and the textures were terrific. I asked for extra fried onions with the mujadara and they were so good, I would get those on their own again.

This restaurant has been open a little more than a year and when I checked their ratings, the 4.98 Stars really caught my eye. It is well deserved and I hope that more people decide to try Al Jannah.

Very good food, vibe and service.
We had Yemeni combo for two. The portion is huge and the taste is very delicious. Also the best bread we’ve had.
Ordered lamb liver, too. Never had similar dish before, and we liked it.
The rice pudding is out of the world good. We like rice pudding in general and order it often, but this is the first time we ever had rice pudding with rose water in it. It brings the dessert to a whole new level.
Will come again.

Placed another to go order from here a couple of weeks ago and forgot to leave a review. This is our second time getting food here and they will definitely continue to be our go to spot whenever we’re looking for excellent delicious food. This time we ordered just off the Yemeni side of the menu. It was just for my wife and I but we ordered the Yemeni combo for 4 to ensure we can get a second meal out of it for later in the week. Almost didn’t because it’s just so good. Quite honestly for most of my life I absolutely hated lamb but when I come here, I insist we get the lamb as it is incredibly delicious and as always very tender, with none of the pungent aftertaste, I used to always have with lamb. The portion sizes are very generous, and as I continue to mention all of the food is incredibly delicious. One of these days we will actually go and dine in, but it’s nice to be able to sit at home and enjoy such delicious food that we didn’t have to spend hours preparing ourselves.

El Jannah hits the spot every time. The meat is seriously next level—super juicy, full of flavor, and cooked perfectly . That chicken? Unreal. The skin’s crispy, the inside’s tender, and when you dip it in that garlic sauce… game over.
The tabouli at El Jannah is super fresh and zesty—exactly how it should be. It’s got that perfect balance of finely chopped parsley, tomato, and a good hit of lemon that gives it a nice, tangy kick. It’s light, refreshing, and goes really well with the heavier grilled meats.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Good luck to El Jannah—keep serving up that amazing food! Looking forward to coming back for more.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
