Tired of fast food? The Sunflower Cafe Is the hidden diamond of truly unique fresh healthy options for lunch or early dinner. Quiet atmosphere personal attention unique food options you have to try. A little bit hidden but easy to find location. Home made bread organic sodas and delicious food. Must try I recommend it whole heartedly.

Truth be known I wasn’t aware that I was eating vegan until after my meal so this review is based on taste and experience. The hummus was amazing. The gumbo tasted like oily spicy warm water with brown rice. The second worst gumbo I have ever eaten. The stir fry was average. The service was average. Not a fan but I’m sure some will love this place.

Stopped at The Sunflower Cafe for lunch with a friend and was pleasantly surprised with the great tasting food served here. They serve a variety of healthy dishes using fresh organic ingredients. They offer Vegan and Vegetarian options.
We started with the Spinach & Artichoke Dip, I had the Mediterranean Turkey Wrap with sides of Tabouli and Baba Ghanoush. My companion ordered the Tuna Salad Sandwich with a side salad. The flavor of everything was terrific and very pleasing to the taste. The portions were good size and we both came away quite full.
The only disappointment was dessert, we ordered Key Lime Pie. It was a small serving and came without whip cream. In my opinion the taste just wasn’t there.
Overall it was a pretty good meal although it turned out to be a little pricey for lunch. I would eat here again and recommend giving The Sunflower Cafe a try.

A nice place to stop and get soup and a sandwich. Something light for lunch pretty quick service friendly atmosphere. I feel if they were located somewhere nicer than a strip mall with better atmosphere it would be a better experience.

Absolutely wonderful cafe and lunch spot in Fairhope! So excited that they had so many vegan options EVERYTHING we had was wonderful. From the price, presentation to taste this place has everything nailed perfectly.
The flavors were incredible and just popped in your mouth. We had Thai Peanut Salad with the Vegan Apple Spice Cake, Turkey Melt with avocado, Falafel Wrap (so yummy) and teas. Check out the photos below.
Set in the middle of this mall it’s so unassuming and is so nice and welcoming.Staff were COVIDSAFE, people were #maskup and tables appropriate distance. They also had takeout available and from the phone ringing off the hook, I’m pretty sure the locals know how special this place is too.

Such a cute cafe stopped to get lunch on our way home to Mississippi. My baby girl enjoyed her first kids meal. Vegan chz pizza. We don’t have vegan restaurants in ms so I’m glad she got to try it, she loved it! All the food was delicious!

This place was absolutely delicious!! I ordered the tofu jerk wrap with tabouli and baba gaboush. My fiance got an open faced turkey and mozzarella melt with coleslaw and baba gaboush. I am eating a plant based diet and this place was perfect. If you haven’t tried them and whether you’re vegan or not, the food is AMAZING! We will definitely be back.

The food was absolutely wonderful. I had the Turkey avocado melt (I asked for the tofu turkey but you can get it either way) with a side salad along with humus with pita. It tasted amazing and the service was so nice. I also tried their black cherry iced herbal tea which was delicious. The food is healthy, filling, and will not disappoint.
