We had an early dinner here on a weekend. We were the only table, so the service was prompt and attentive.
The interior was clean and tidy, with a contemporary look. The glass block wall between the two unisex restrooms, while textured, was not completely private.
We passed on the expensive appetizers. We ordered one Butter Chicken with Goat Cheese, medium spice level. I found this too sweet, almost reminded me of Campbell Tomato Soup. My partner said the goat cheese helped balance it out, but there was not enough cheese to balance out the whole dish. The chicken was a bit dry, and seemed to be all sliced chicken breasts.
Our other dish was Bihari Goat Curry, spicy. It was nice that all the goat dishes specifically said “bone-in” for those less experienced diners. This one could have had a fuller spice palette, though it was certainly hot enough. The goat was tender and flavorful, and the favorite for both of us. The basmati rice was delicious, fluffy and tender.
We had a tasty iced tea, and shared a Rasmalai for dessert which had a floral milk syrup and chopped pistachios, sweet and refreshing.
There were plenty of vegetarian and vegan options, as well as gluten-free dishes. They also have a lunch menu.

Alright, I have been to a few Indian restaurants faithfully in indy, but aroma was the new kid on the block for me.

Food is really good! Now I felt it was pricier than my other experiences, but inflation has hit over the course of that time, and tbh based on what was tasting I cannot say I’m upset, but I did notice it seemed pricier.

Pricier in terms of nothing being included in your meal. The alcohol was also crazy overpriced.

They didn’t have some options im used to seeing like a vegetable platters, but based on my order “goat biryani” and samosas, I’m not going to complain about their menu. All the flavors I took in were outstanding.

Ambiance inside is pretty cool! Quaint, dark, but does have that clear date night lighting! On a Wednesday night there was no one else there, so we felt we got the private dinner experience and had space to ourselves.

They seem to do a lot of take out which makes sense based on what i tasted .

Close parking is actually pretty terrible, its right off of a one lane tight street into a tight parking lot.

But i do believe you can park in the upland lot area, cross the street and head on in.

I’m in love with Aroma! We have eaten here and their other location a half dozen times now. They are extremely consistent and the food is just beautiful. The interior of the restaurant itself is fun and hip. Very tastefully done. Service has always been very prompt and courteous.

On this trip I decided to try something different for my entrée. Previously, I have had the tiki masala and the korma both of which are outstanding. I was looking over their extensive vegetarian options and was guided to that Baingan Bharta. For the appetizer, I stuck with the tandoori chicken, which I love. I also order everything mild because I don’t like a lot of heat. I also ordered the garlic Nan, which is delicious.

As usual, the tandoori chicken came out, moist, tender, and such a sophisticated taste. Absolutely delicious. I really enjoyed the mint and tamarind chutney’s as well. The main course, Baingan Bharta, was heaven in every bite. Such a beautifully spiced dish should not be overlooked. I highly recommend you try it. I normally order from there non-vegetable entrées. I think I’m going to be adventurous and try it one of their vegetarian offerings in the future.

For dessert I had their orange pudding. This is rice pudding in an orange shell. It was pretty tasty too

I’m not too big on Indian food but I always love me a good butter chicken and Aroma was suggested to me so I decided to give it a try.

Walked in on a Saturday at around 6:15 and they weren’t busy. Our waiter was friendly and gave us some great menu suggestions.

I tried out a few things but I mostly went for the Butter Chicken. Honestly, it’s the best I’ve ever had. Super rich in flavor, the chicken was tender and delish, overall just a fantastic butter chicken.

Overall, if you’re in Broad Ripple looking for a great Indian restaurant, Aroma is definitely my new favorite spot and I highly suggest you come too! I’ll be back.

Amazing Indian Restaurant along the college st. Our server Tabasum was great and provided amazing service. Mango lassi to buttered naan, and Chicken Korma were really good. I asked for very mild and it still had good flavor and nothing seemed to be bland like it usually does at other places. Will be back soon!

They mixed up my order over the phone and gave me a more expensive item than I asked for. Instead of refunding my item online (I know they can do that, I’ve worked in service before) they took it out on the server and made him pay out of pocket! The server was really nice and doing his best. I said that’s not fair and not how it should work. The management should deal with problems and not make the servers pay that is ridiculous. So now I paid for something I don’t even want AND didn’t get a refund!! Also the paneer is MID and the Daal is overpriced!!! A meal for 1 person should not be $30…
