Pasta House is the local equivalent of Olive Garden in the St. Louis metro area. The food isn’t great, but it’s predictable. Because of this, we don’t mind eating there every couple of months.
This location seems to be newer, and has opened in the past year or two. The atmosphere was bright and cheery, but notably smaller than their other locations. We couldn’t help but notice a musty smell upon walking in, almost like the building was “wet”.
The food and service were fine. We had Megan, and she was attentive and friendly. We split a Pasta House salad (yummy but nothing beats Rich & Charlie’s). We also got entrees: I got a burger (surprisingly good, the shoestring fries were crispy), and my Mom got cannelloni (she said they tasted lukewarm in the middle, but the flavor was good).
Don’t come to Pasta House looking for a gourmet meal, but if you lower your expectations– it’s not a bad place to enjoy an Americanized Italian meal.

Im a woman that grew up eating at the original Pasta House on Delmar in U City in the 70’s/early 80’s. Continued visiting the company restaurants until maybe 30 years ago. When my kids were little I would take them,…. they are all now in their 30’s. Haven’t been in since. This evening I visited this store to take carry out to Mo Bap where my husband is in the hospital. Thought it would be an easy answer and why not give it an “olde school try” What a huge breath of fresh air! The bartender and manager were both so kind, so accomodating. The bartender took my order, offered to split each item so we would have “plates” to eat from, was so kind, huge smile. My husband and I shared the salad, bread and pasta from his bedside. The salad was fresh, the pasta warm, tasty, reminded me of old times. The last time or two that I had been in with my kids years ago,…. it was never the same, it felt like the McDonalds of pasta. Tonight it felt new again, fresh, tasty, real and as though it was the old Pasta House. Thank you to whatever and whomever has made the effort to bring it back! I’m thrilled and will absolutely be back and recommend to friends.

I recently tried this location for the first time with a carry out order. I called it in and paid once I picked it up. The hostess was SO friendly and she even made sure that I was signed up for the rewards program! The food was really good, and I was shocked about how big the portions were! I felt like I got a great deal and I will be able to at least get 2 meals out of my pasta if not more! Thanks Pasta House Kirkwood!!

Great dinner last night! I had a tuto mare pasta an it was amazing. I tried the same pasta in different Italian restaurant and I am sure that the Pasta house is the best so far. Everyone there was warm and welcoming and our surver Hana was the best. Helpfull,knowledge and sweet! By the way it’s turn out they have happy hours al Sunday and on the top kids eat free!!! Food was well cooked. I ordered the pasta primavera to-go and it was splendid! However, I wanted to write this review specifically because of how moved I was from the amazing service at the to-go counter. The carry out person— named Alex— did amazing communicating with me warmly from welcoming me in to wishing me a good day as I left. This interaction is what I love to see when I go out to pickup food from restaurants, and makes my food taste 100% better. Thank you pasta house co., and Alex for leaving me with an amazing experience. Will definitely come by again.

For a casual Italian experience, it’s hard to beAt the Pasta House. Classic salad, good pasta, solid pizza. This is a very new location compared to others, so it doesn’t have the old school vibe of other locations, but it will get there.
Biggest appeal for us, kids eat free on Sunday. So we plan to use that with some regularity.

I would like to thank the staff for giving my family outstanding service tonight.
I will be honest and say that I didn’t want to go out in miserable 0 degree weather to a restaurant, but my wife and daughter were quite insistent and I was outvoted . I was not in a great mood when we arrived.
The gentleman who seated us (I apologize for not getting his name) was incredibly kind and brought crayons for our daughter to color with.
Our server Megan was flawless. Everything came out fast, hot, and correct, she was friendly and checked in on us multiple times to make sure our needs were met. 10/10, no notes, don’t change a thing.
I am so tired of going to restaurants where my presence is treated as an inconvenience. It was refreshing to be treated well at a restaurant.
This particular Pasta House happens to be located next door to my daughter’s ballet studio. I can assure you will be seeing more of us, and it’s because of the way we were treated by the staff. You can get Italian food anywhere in this town, but you can’t get service like this almost anywhere. Thank you!

I ordered the chicken Parmigiana with side salad and pasta with white sauce. I received pasta with red sauce. The chicken was 1/4 “ thick and dry. The entire meal food cost was @ $3.00 but was charged $20.99. The restaurant was half empty on a Thursday night. I don’t know how long they will last but I know I will not be returning

Early dinner. Just got off work & stopped in. Waitress told me I could seat myself so I chose the bar. Sarah bartender/ waitress was very attentive & friendly. She gave Great suggestions for my 1st time here. This location is huge with plenty of tv’s & parking. The shrimp fettuccine (with added broccoli) was plentiful with perfect ratio of sauce & noodles. My Long Island Tea was Amazing!! The garlic bread is tasty as well. They also brought 2 rolls before I started my meal. It was so good I asked to meet the cook. Her name was KeKe, I thanked her for such wonderful food. I will return to try the strawberry salad on a warmer day. Thanks for the Awesome experience!!!

We came unexpectedly with a large party 2 days before Christmas and had a wonderful experience! Alecia was absolutely fantastic, would come back just for them! We had multiple kiddos not a single beverage ever got empty. Amazing experience all around.
