We love this place. Always fresh made to order. Classic rolls are smaller than most other places but we dont mind. They are willing to wrap your rolls in cucumber if you are low carbing for an additional up charge. Service is friendly and quick to go. I have never dined in.

My absolute favorite place to go for sushi. I mostly go for dinner and get the sushi dinner where you get a soup, salad, and choose 3 rolls from a short list. The staff is always friendly, its always about a 10min wait if you order take out. Its clean with a great atmosphere.

Best sushi in Slidell. This is a perfect little family run place that always has fresh and delicious fish. The dinners are great as well and I especially love the yaki soba. This is one my usual places to eat and I’ve never been disappointed.

I stopped in for dinner and was greeted very warmly, which was great. So far, so good. The menu was decent, pretty varied and sounded appealing. I felt like nigiri tonight, so I ordered the sushi deluxe dinner. The miso soup was tasty, the salad was nothing to write home about, and the nigiri… was pretty bad. I found the texture and flavor of the rice to be utterly uncompelling and the fish to be of poor quality. The salmon had hardly any flavor and was not a great texture, either. I normally love salmon nigiri. The tuna seemed sort of “bitter”? Not sure how to describe it. The special rolls here might be a lot better than the nigiri, but I don’t feel inclined to risk it; it’s a rather pricey gamble. I did appreciate the service, but I won’t be back.

Great Sushi Chef probably the best in Slidell. He has been the chef for the past 11 plus years..always super fresh tuna, salmon and much more….best seaweed salad and his rolls are to die for.

Samarai Sushi is the best sushi my husband and I have ever had and we eat it a lot. Restaurant is quaint, nicely decorated, excellent service , and rolls are big and delicious.
