I recently visited the Popeye’s at 2119 Bemiss Rd, in Valdosta, GA. I had a good experience at this location. The service was good and my meal was processed and served quickly. I brought to the lead person that the unsweet tea was empty and he quickly got more brewing.

The staff here are nice ans friendly. The service was fast. I asked for spicy chicken and got regular instead and wish I had waited for spicy legs.thatay have been moist.
I didn’t realize a wing could be dry but it can. The red beans were good and hot as we’re the Mac and cheese and the biscuit.
The Big Box has moved up to $6.99 and now there is no extra charge for mac and cheese so maybe it balances out.
I don’t know if there is a new recipe but the seasoning on the regular chicken was non existing. Maybe it was just off this one time. We’ll give them some more time and try back after the holidays.

I went through the drive thru and ordered a three piece meal. After taking a couple bites from the leg, it didn’t taste right so I proceeded to try the wing and it was dark brown on the inside. I tried calling their store, it just rung and finally stated mailbox full. I was up all night sick, cramping and I’m still not feeling well.

For this to be a fairly new establishment, one would think they would be on point to make a good impression. I ordered the #3 chicken sandwich that has cheese and bacon. The chicken was old and looked to be scraps of whatever they could find in the back. I asked for Mac and cheese, and they didn’t have any. I came back to get a refund, and the manager could have cared less about the situation. She came to the window and said, “Are we refunding the whole thing?” No apologies or anything. She handed my card to the cashier, and he gave it to me and just walked away. I sat their because the expectation was to receive some form of receipt for the traction. He finally came back and said he didn’t have a receipt for me and did not know how to get me one but suggested I take a picture of his receipt he needed for the drawer. It’s clear the issue starts with poor management. The 2 for service was merely because the cashier didn’t act like hated his job.

This is our 4th time in and I have to say each time has been a great disappointment, they stuck a new hire up front that was lost, restaurant was dirty, had to wait for chicken to be cooked as well as biscuits and it took 30 min to get food AGAIN! When I got home the chicken was COLD and I only live about 5-7 min away, pretty sure we are done with this location.

The girl at the front could care less about my order.
I asked her to please make sure it was spicy, and when I went to eat it, it was not.
The chicken had been cooked in old grease and was extremely greasy, and I could not eat it.
I also tried to go through the drive-through, but they would not take card, only cash.

I ordered my food and got pulled to the line, waited there for about 8 min, then they told me to pull in the parking lot! I waited for 40 min for CHICKEN WINGS!! This can not be!! Then i come inside and they say he still haven’t drop the chicken and the dude back there looking like he doesn’t care…and then saying smart remarks!! Everybody was turning back around when they knew the chicken was a 45 min wait! This is ridiculous and whoever on the chicken need to be somewhere else! And i ordered lemon pepper and they was mixing the sauce in the box over a TRASH CAN! No mam!! Somebody really need to revisit this place! On Norman!!

Waited 15mins in the drive thru for my order to “NOT” be taken. I finally drove up to the window and asked why nobody took me order, the cashier said they were short of staff and I should come in. I stated if you’re not taking orders in the drive thru, shouldn’t they’re be a sign so customers wouldn’t wait looking crazy. So, I said you can take my order right now since you’re talking to me thru the window. When I got my order, it was “GREASY”.I know it’s fried food but this was overly greasy to the point where the grease stains were noticeable in the box. I ended up waisting $10 on a meal that look like a kids meal and with all the grease present; it made me so sick. They’re slowly going down hill and may need better management.

Waited 23 minutes to be told the chicken they were cooking for our drive thru order had been given out over the counter. Waited another 17 minutes, when we got home the order was wrong and was less than what we paid. We’ve had to wait a long time before but thought it was a fluke. It’s NOT a fluke. Terrible service.
