I had the smash burger and some of my friend’s roasted chicken. The flavor in the burger was the best I’ve had in a long time. Chicken was out of this world. Will be going back many times, what a great lunch and dinner option in Bergland!

If I could do 4.5 stars I would – all our food was good, but the brisket sliders could’ve used a little more meat, and the jalapeño burger was a little tough. BUT overall it was very good and we would definitely come back. Our waitress was very attentive too. Husband said it’s the best brisket he’s found in the UP.

Stopped in when passing through. I think this was the third owner. Different menu but it was delicious. We both had the broasted chicken dinner. Better than Nashville’s famous chicken! Peanut butter pie for dessert was good. We split a piece.

We stopped in to watch the Olympic gold medal basketball game and had a great time! Beth provided us with amazing service and the food was incredible! Especially the cheese curds! Great portion sizes and dishes!!! The broasted chicken was and we bought two of the Mahoney’s Gold BBQ sauce to take with us!

Everyone at my table loved their food. They have a salad bar and soup that you can serve yourself, which was very nice. They had white chicken chili that day, very delicious. Very friendly atmosphere.

Stopped here today for lunch while Timberline sports fixed my sled. Food was great and staff was friendly and inviting. I highly recommend this place.

Excellent food, huge menu, clean and welcoming atmosphere, cold beer (plus a huge drink selection), and service that will make you feel like a neighborhood friend. We almost never dine at the same restaurant 2 nights in a row, but my burgers were some of the best I’ve ever had (cooked to perfection) and the homemade soups are like a hug in a bowl. Highly recommend this place!!!
