Had a fantastic dinner, was shocked how good the grilled tuna was. Who knew they brought in fresh tuna up here. Homemade gnocchi was quite tasty as well.

Italian influenced menu with good nightly specials, family friendly and decent prices.
Most recently (July 2025) with our large family of 10, great service and food from Jesy (server) and Ginger (bar), awesome martinis.
Be sure and make a reservation!

ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTED AND DISAPOINTED. I was browsing resturants in Spread Eagel for my upcoming trip and saw disturbing reviews. This one man, had said that they gave him expired shrimp, he said that the shrimp had a strong fishy taste/smell thats not normal shrimp smell. He even had to spit it into the napkin! Nothing was freshly made. In his salad the tomatoes, lettuce, were soggy. He also had pasta and said that it was very raw flowery taste. Another person that posted a review said how he explained that he has a dairy allergy and that they didnt cook the steak in butter but put cheese on his steak… My sister and brother in law said that they’ve had bad experiences with the food aswell! Such as it being expired, even said that their food is smothered in grease, NOT in a good delicious way. Please save your money and do not come here, the food is way too expensive to be this TERRIBLE!!

i’ve eaten at El Capitan for 12 years now and i’ve had nothing short of positive experiences. The homemade gnocchi and homemade bread pair beautifully with the authentic homemade red sauce. I am always greeted with smiling faces and superb service too. I highly recommend El Capitan!

My family and I came to eat here, it took a while to get our food out. The food was not good. I heard from a reliable sourse that their hot water turns off often and the manager still makes the dishwasher employees clean the dishes in cold water which is a heath hazard. The atmosphere is nice, very well kept clean. The waitresses are nice as well, however, the food and the rumors(no hot water) not so much…

We got to El Capitan right before they needed to serve a big wedding. To make sure we got our food quickly, they told us about this so we could plan accordingly. The drinks were mixed perfectly. The food was great and the service was absolutely amazing! Can’t wait to go back.

Our extended family met at El Capitan Supper Club for dinner and enjoyed a nice meal with great service. The wait staff was experienced in mature. Numerous Italian pasta dishes to choose from, fresh salad, and good bread. This restaurant has been open for a number of years serving the local community. We enjoyed eating there well in town.

Had a fillet, baked potato and a salad. Fillet was great and potato were great. Presentation was marginal, fillet on top of a piece of bread. Plate seemed stark, could have put potato on the same plate instead of an additional plate, offer a nice vegetable, instead of lettuce with three cherry tomatoes. Not a bad experience and I hope it was just a one time experience.

This place is fantastic! They had a couple parties happening at the time we walked in, but you’d never know as everything was wonderful from the service to the drinks to hot food!
Our server was wonderful and explained everything in detail as we had never dined there. The pasta is made fresh every day and the sauces are made to order.
My only recommendation is to make reservations before going(or you may not get to eat!) We didn’t know this and just walked in. However, we were the last walk in they could take and it was 530 on a Sunday afternoon.

Unassuming restaurant on the street. Service is very courteous and caters to the customers’ wishes.
The staff is friendly and always strives to ensure satisfaction.
The food is very tasty. We had baked garlic bread with a special sauce for dipping. The main course was pepper steak with mushrooms and fettucine, which was a real explosion of flavor.
