Not really quite as bad as one would imagine. For a gas station fried chicken place it was fine. Their chicken sandwiches were exactly like the ones served in my junior high thirty years ago. Almost a walk down memory lane 🙂

First off, the chicken is amazing. I got the three-piece tenders with a fantastic biscuit and a Mexican Coke for $11 and change! It’s located in the Durham Mini Mart/Exxon, so you won’t really see good signage until you’re in the gas station parking lot. I’ll definitely be back – best deal around and the chicken was amazing.

My wife and I stopped here because we saw the signs and boy are we glad we did the chicken is moist and tender and very tasty. The biscuits are to die for and the sides are great. The proprietor is friendly and helpful and very knowledgeable. This place is a great addition to Durham!!!!

I stopped at this Krispy Krunchy chicken while I was already here getting gas for my Work vehicle.
There seemed to be a bit of a communication barrier…
I asked what pieces were included in a three-piece versus a four piece and the dude started putting chicken in a box .
I ended up with a wing, a drum, and a thigh. I asked about a fourth piece, but it didn’t appear it would be a breast either, so I said 3 is good.
The chicken was crispy and tasty, but a breast would have been great.
Then there was the potatoes… I asked for mashed and he kept trying to give me these potato wedges.
I eventually got the mashed, but let’s not bring up the gravy or lack there of.
It included a biscuit, which turned out to be pretty tasty.
At that point, I cut my losses and took what I could get as I had to get moving.
I paid the man and got out of there
Overall, it was good, but coulda shoulda woulda been great.

Horrible food the chicken was definitely last nights chicken reheated, and you could taste they had not changed the deep fryer oil in like two life times! Don’t waste your money on their food!
