Very good pizza! My daughter and I stopped in on our way to an event in Atlantic Highlands snd I’m glad we tried it. Not a huge variety like so many others. But what they have is so good. The men at the counter were very friendly and polite. They even served us instead of telling us it was ready! It’s also nice snd clean! I’d highly recommend this pizzeria.

Hands down the best pizza that I have ever had and my 77-year-old Greek mother agrees. best in New Jersey, better than New York pizza better than pizza anywhere if you don’t stop here, you’re missing out on real New Jersey pizza, #1 BEST OF NEW JERSEY! We live 2 hours away. will be back for the beach and the pizza at rosso’s.

Go to spot for a slice or pie in Atlantic Highlands! Fast, friendly service! The grandma’s pizza is our favorite, but everything we have tried has been delicious!

Classic New Jersey pizzeria
We ordered from there twice during our stay at my Mother’s in Law’s home in Atlantic HighIands.
1st order was for 3 extra large pies, Cheese, Pepperoni and a Special.
Ingredients were fresh and overall the pizza was what we were hoping for!!!. Hard to find East Coast style pizza in Southern California.

Unfortunately I did not take any pictures, I was in a rush to devour some slices.

Our second order was for a full Italian sub. Portions were huge, ingredients were fresh. We enjoyed them that day and the next as it was huge.

Looking forward to our next visit as I want to review some of their Italian dishes.

I enjoyed my conversation with the young Italian guy who took my orders. I should have asked his name. Very friendly and open to conversation.

Overall enjoyed all aspects of this little pizzeria.

We ordered 2 pizzas – an XL cheese and an XL pepperoni. We were not disappointed. Living in California has it’s benefits but it does not have this style of pizza.

Ordered $130 worth of pizza for a birthday party at 450pm the delivery driver brought the pizza at 622pm after they said 35 to 40 minutes for delivery. Id never order from here again. The pizza was ice cold and the driver just laughed at me when I asked him why it was cold. When I called the store the employee told me he’d “take care of me” next time with 10% off. What a joke

Zero. Today my office ordered from here. So bad. Spent $18 to have a treat and received eggplant that tasted spoiled and a salad drenched in dressing because the lettuce was brown and wilted. People have choices and don’t like being served garbage.

After spending a busy day during my Weekend off that started with the Cedar Glen Christmas Party with other community members, to enjoying some Craft Beer samples at Carton Brewery in Atlantic Highlands with some friends and finally some pizza at a new stop on one of many of my continuing Pizza, Trenton Tomato Pie Tour.

Today’s choice was a medium size Nepolitana Cheese Pizza that I asked to have them bake in the upside down style that I have developed a strong liking for.

Out of the 6 slices I ate 4, they obviously we’re very tasty and I could of finished the whole pie.

I will reheat the remaining 2 tomorrow to see how good they will taste tomorrow.

I definitely have an obsession, it is one of many and Kit Dwight puts up with most if not all of them!!!

Tonight’s visit at another Family or Mom and Pop establishment was an improvement over last night’s.

I would recommend this place to friends, co workers and even strangers, try them out.

I will give Dough Fellas in Brick another shot since they graciously responded to my post on last night’s visit.

I invite everyone to visit and sample any of the Pizza’s and Trenton Tomato Pies I have reviewed from both ends of New Jersey and even Pennsylvania.

It definitely is one of the comfort foods that most of us seem to enjoy.

Ordered and picked up a LARGE SPECIAL PIZZA ( AKA GARBAGE PIE ) a few days ago , got it home and grabbed the first slice and realized that it was the BEST PIZZA that I had from any pizza place in YEARS … I usually eat 2 slices … Could not stop and ended up eating 4 slices in one sitting !!! … WOW … Have been going to POMODOROS about once a month for several years ( always BAREFOOT … even in WINTER ) and have found them to be what I call BAREFOOT FRIENDLY … Was never once ever hassled about my BARE FEET … As a FULL TIME YEAR ROUND BAREFOOTER , this carries a lot of weight for me … GREAT FOOD , at a decent price and BAREFOOT FRIENDLY makes a me very HAPPY CUSTOMER … THANKS GUYS … BAREFOOT DAVE …

First timer…..
My family stopped here for dinner before our long trip back home. We ordered a pie and garlic knots. Garlic knots were so fluffy and delicious. Pizza was amazing too. Sauce was delicious and generously had mozzarella. My young girls ate two slices each! This speaks volumes because they’re sooo picky. Everyone was very hospitable. Only have a picture of the knots because the pizza was devoured too fast hahaha
I’ll be back next time we’re in the neighborhood.

We used to live in Atlantic Highlands and loved this place. We went to the beach today and decided to get subs since we were passing by again. I had to explain our sandwich order FIVE times and despite them repeating it back to me , they still messed up our orders. Example: they had portabella mushrooms on the sub instead of mortadella. They are no longer owned by the previous owners it seems and the quality of service and food has gone downhill. Never going here again and suggest you don’t either.
