I don’t know how this place has a 4.3 much less still open. The beef nachos were appalling. The tasted like what I would imagine dog food would taste like. Mushy. Almost like a pate instead of ground beef. Chips were absolutely soggy. Waited for my order in the parking lot went in in 5 minutes they said 10 to fifteen minutes… no way those were fresh. Salsa tasted like it was mixed with marinara.. Taco bell could do better….

I used to love Tijuana but I have started to notice changes in one of the food items that are my favorite which is the shrimp tacos. They keep changing and I don’t like them anymore because it’s not the same taste that I had the first or second time it’s different or something is missing. I had a pickup order and in the pic, you can see I barely had any sauce to taste it. I thought oh well I love their chips and salsa but to my disappointment, I didn’t have any salsa in the bag so I didn’t wanna bother eating just plain chips.
Update: I went back and they taste like I remember delicious even the taco shell!! I’m glad I decided to give it another chance and I will continue to eat there.

The food is okay, no better or worse than the other Mexican restaurants in Elizabethton.
I ordered 2 grilled chicken quesadillas, that comes with beans and rice, plus chips and salsa. The salsa was good and it’s hot. Not sure if they have mild. It is my first time here so I forgot to ask.
The beans are delicious, but the rice is bland, no flavor. The quesadillas were okay, plus there is less chicken than you get at the other 2 Mexican restaurants in town. The flour tortillas were not crispy but the outside was kinda burnt.
I haven’t made up my mind yet if I am going back. Maybe try something different. Maybe go at lunch instead of supper.

This place is amazing!!! They have cheese only tamales, which makes me one happy vegetarian! Delicious salsa, bean dip, and chips! And Alana is an awesome server!!! Will definitely eat here again ASAP!

Loved our first experience here! We were so excited to have another Mexican restaurant in town! The employees were working very hard but still had great attitudes. The food was amazing! The only recommendation I have is to not order water to drink (it had a foul metallic type after taste). Definitely will be coming back here though!

Very nice, quiet and intimate environment. The staff here had some of the best costomer service I’ve seen in a long time. They are extremely friendly. The food was hot, fresh and delicious. If you like spicy, ask for their Tarasco sause. It’s delicious and adds a reasonable amount of spice. Overall a great experience

I had the lunch fajitas, very good. I compliment the cook! Also, I asked for mild salsa but they didnt hv any made, which I was find with, however the waiter went to kitchen and asked for fresh made salsa for me! Such a nice gesture! Forgot to get any pics, but we really enjoyed our food. This was our first time at Tijuana’s. My husband got a chimichanga and ate every bite of it. I had a chicken quesadilla. It was good, but too much for me to finish it. The free chips and salsa and bean dip were very good too.

The waitress was nice but I’m pretty sure the “beef” is canned cat food. It tastes nothing like beef/meat. My boyfriend got chicken tacos, it was definitely out of the can. The cheese dip was watered down way too much. Definitely not worth $40
