Great experience. It’s under remodeling. So you use a different door right after the drive thru. But the lobby is open! It was within 45 minutes to closing time when we got there. We went in and everyone was friendly. We ordered and white we waited for food we looked at the old photos and took pictures. It was a fun little experience. Very clean and bright inside. Lots to look at and read. And within 10 minutes it’s seemed, our food was done. So we left and went to our car. Great staff. Very polite and professional. And the food was amazing. Highly recommend chili cheese fries!

Enter 45 minutes before close and was treated as a huge inconvenience. They didn’t even have a cash register put together for us to order. No frosted mug for the root beer. THEY PUT ICE IN MY ROOT BEER. They also brought my order to me in a to go bag after I specifically asked to dine in as they were open another 45 minutes. This is the second time I’ve had such an experience here. I’ve heard they’re under new ownership and I’ll never come back again. If you want to close at 8 that’s fine but if you’re open till 9 don’t make me feel like a bad guy for trying to come at 8:15. Very poor establishment.

Good service and like the calorie count on the menu board. Family friendly. However bathrooms are small and not wheelchair friendly. No place for diaper changes here. Busy on a Sunday night with plenty of service people who can handle it effectively. Drive through available.

The chicken strips were delicious and hot. I was more after the root beer and just taking in the cafe as our A&W closed decades ago in Mason City. It was a worthwhile drive.
