The wife and I celebrated our 19th Wedding Anniversary here. We wanted to go somewhere special and Bonnie & Clyde did disappoint. This was the first restaurant that ever read my special reservation notes because ever employee congratulated us and they even sent over a glass of free champagne for us to toast. The stracciatella cheese appetizer was unique and surprisingly delicious. I had to go with the steak fites for my main and you have to get a side of the malt vinegar aioli. And since it was Christmas time they had a gingerbread cream cheese dessert . If your on the Eastside make Bonnie and Clyde a must stop

You’ll definitely want to make a reservation ahead of time, but it’s well worth it. The inside of this place was beautifully done. Service is great, and the food is incredible. The menu is mostly set up to share with the table and it’s a great way to try everything. I was nervous about not loving the menu ahead of time, but I ended up loving everything I tried. The steak is to die for. We ended up trying one of every dessert- highly recommend doing this! Definitely one of my favorite restaurants around.

I loved the atmosphere of the place, it was a bit loud and hard to hear. The building itself was a bank. Food was delicious. Definitely recommend getting the steak frites. Perfectly cooked, juicy and tender with the butter. Staff was friendly.

Honestly probably some of the best food we’ve had in Rochester the past 4 years living here. Some of the reviews comment on portion size. The chef is Spanish so the small plates are tapas style. Cocktails were also delicious. Will definitely be back!

This was a fun, unique, expensive experience. The remodel of this old bank is fantastic! It’s a lively, sophisticated, posh atmosphere. You won’t want to come in jeans and a hoodie for dinner here. It’s very modern with amazing upscale small portioned unique dishes. It’s a treat for even the most experienced pallets. It’s a little load even on the second floor. The vault room is one of a kind.

One of the newest hotspots in town. It took over the old Fairport savings bank, which which means high ceilings so it’s extremely loud. They’ve done a great job renovating the interior and you even can get a private room inside the old bank fault. I’ve attached the menu which doesn’t have a lot of food. Their specials are fantastic and their small plates are great. Best octopus I ever had. Wife said beet salad is also phenomenal. The lamb chops are tender and cooked perfectly. Our friends had a steak and fries, which was very good although cooked a little more than the medium rare they asked. The pasta was too al dente. If you want pasta, go to an Italian restaurant instead. Drinks are very good. The bar is huge and is usually packed. The old style bank teller ropes separate the bar folks from the dining patrons. Liam, one of the bartenders with a beard is fantastic. Lots of parking, which is nice. Keep in mind there’s construction right now in Fairport so you might have to take a few detours to get there. Crème brûlée for dessert was well done. Redwood still probably has the best crème brûlée in Rochester, but this place did a great job as well. Scallops had a slight undertone of curry and we’re very tender. Octopus was extremely tender. Unfortunately, both the lamb and the steak came out a medium when they were ordered medium rare.

We ate at Bonnie and Clyde and it was one of the best meals I’ve had out all year. They had a tuna crudo appetizer special that was so fresh and just melted in your mouth. The fried goat cheese was incredible. We had such a hard time choosing because everything on the menu looked so good! I took a risk ordering the bolognese as I tend to be very disappointed with restaurant bolognese, but this one was amazing. You could tell the pasta was made in house and the flavors were incredible. My husband got the chicken and it was so moist and a nice sized portion. Everything came out fast and the prices were surprisingly inexpensive for the quality. The ambiance was great, I’ve seen other reviews complaining about it being too loud but we went on a Friday night and I honestly didn’t think it was any louder than any other restaurant would be. All around great experience, would definitely recommend!

Absolutely love this place. We used to go to Cub Room and when we found out he owners opened a new restaurant we had to go. Food is top notch from the small bites to entrees. Everything is always cooked and seasoned to perfection. I’ve been able to try new things like rabbit, ox tail, and even truffles. The food comes out perfectly timed so you’re never halfway through your appetizer when the entree comes out. Wait staff is always very friendly, very knowledgeable, and very attentive. Great for a date night, a celebration, or just if you want to treat yourself to a great meal. If I could rate them higher I would.

Wanted to check this out and we stopped in on a Thursday evening. We had a very short wait prior to being seated waiting staff was very friendly but it was so loud you could barely hear what was said. The dishes are very small portion size so we opted to try the lobster croquet, the octopus, the steak frittes, Amish chicken and empanadas. All the food was cooked pretty well and we didn’t leave with to go boxes. There was a decent amount of parking in the back of the restaurant so it was easy to come and go.
