Came in for their Valentine’s Day special. First time into the restaurant. Interesting choice to put a raw oyster on the menu in NM, which scream Vibrio to me so no thank you. When they brought out our food the person bringing out the food didn’t know which order was who’s. For as expensive of the meal was I would expect this level of detail. I have food allergies. So my partner called ahead to ask about the menu for the night to make sure I could have some. Our server didn’t quite seam to know if the food options had my tomato or strawberry allergy so they were underprepared. They forgot to bring a spoon out for my partners lobster bisque. He sat there 10 minutes. I was about ready to get up to say something before I caught someone’s eye. Then toward the end of the night they told us we had 5 minutes left since another reservation was coming in. They could have mentioned the time frame from the beginning of the meal so I didn’t feel like we were asked to hurry up to get kicked out. We didn’t drink any alcohol this time, but maybe this is what makes the place? The drinks did look appetizing.

My fiancé and I celebrated our 7 year anniversary tonight at Central Bodega for their Valentines special 5 course meal. We had a wonderful experience! Every dish tasted carefully crafted with great natural flavors. 9/10 experience overall and we definitely can’t wait to go back.

Last-minute anniversary reservation that totally paid off.
The service, food, and drinks were excellent—much improved from our previous visit. The wait for a table was brief, and the staff apologized graciously. We went with the bartender’s choice, and it’s probably one of my all-time favorite cocktails.

Mariah was awesome—warm, professional, and she even created a couple of spontaneous drinks that wowed us: a standout “random” concoction and an amazing martini.

CJ from Mission Winery stopped by and was great as always.

I highly recommend the mussels with fries.

All in all, a great experience that has us excited to return.

We stopped into Central Bodega with a group of friends to celebrate a birthday, and it was such a great choice.

The menu is fun and creative, with unique options that make it exciting to try something new. The atmosphere feels classy and elevated without being stuffy — perfect for a special occasion or a night out with friends. Every single thing we ordered tasted amazing and was beautifully presented.

It’s definitely on the middle to higher end in terms of price, but you’re paying for the full experience — the ambiance, the quality, and the flavors. Overall, it’s absolutely worth trying if you’re looking for somewhere memorable to celebrate or enjoy a great meal.

Upon arriving for dinner, I was greeted with genuine warmth by the staff—a promising start to the evening. I was seated in the upstairs dining area, which offers a noticeably more refined and comfortable ambiance compared to the downstairs. Service was sharp and informed; my server not only demonstrated a deep knowledge of the menu but also impressed with a custom off-menu cocktail that showcased both creativity and balance.

The highlight of the evening was the prawns with linguine in a lemon sauce—a dish that delivered far beyond expectations. The pasta was perfectly cooked, the prawns succulent, and the lemon sauce brought a bright, elegant acidity that tied the elements together beautifully. It’s a plate that lingers in the memory and certainly warrants a return visit to explore more of what the kitchen has to offer.

Came here with a friend to have dinner. We arrived right when they opened and was seated right away even without a reservation. Staff and servers were very nice and pleasant. The ambiance was very warm and inviting. My friend ordered the lamb with veggies and scalloped potatoes, and I had a cesar salad with steak and fries. My friend raved about the lamb and said it was one of the best she’s had. My salad was great, although the steak had more fatty pieces than actual meat and could have had a bit more flavor. All in all the food and drinks were great and the service was exceptional. Would love to return and try out their brunch items.

My taste buds thank me for this restaurant visit, It’s a stunning place. The vibe and decor allow you to relax, which I loved. I started off with crab cake, and let’s just WOW those flavors are phenomenal (lemon & capers) are my favorite ever. I need this crab cake daily. Hehe! My main course was the lobster, and I definitely wasn’t disappointed. It was bursting with flavor and cooked perfectly, i can’t wait to go back to indulge again. My friend had the steak and fries that she enjoyed also. The service was great. We had a very knowledgeable server who made recommendations, and it was most appreciated. I definitely recommend this place!!!

We walked in at 6:30 after deciding we’d eat somewhere in Nob Hill. I checked their menu on their website and we were sold on the Cioppino so we didn’t even consider anywhere else. When we arrived and were ready to order discovered they had changed their menu and no longer offered it.
We arrived and it was completely empty, we were the only ones there. The hostess asked if we had a reservation then said she needed to check what they had available. For the next hour or so we were one of about 5 couples who dined. One server and one hostess so it was friendly but we did a lot of waiting. The seats look pretty but are the least comfortable and the plates slide all over the tables as you eat. The food was delicious— I would expect a restaurant like the is to serve complimentary bread before the meal though. Be aware of the 3% credit card fee— if we’d read the fine print would have paid in cash.
