This used to be a good restaurant. The food is still good but the service and prices are terrible. I stopped going into the restaurant years ago after a waitress there who was terrible took my $0 tip and made it $10. They refunded me that after I called and complained. Have ordered UberEATS a couple of times because the food is legitimately good. However, they package it in door tree bags and it got destroyed last time. Overpriced and shitty service. Go to the New Mexican place in Cedarburg.

Feeling a little hurt by this place. Everything was so so. Service was good and fine. It was empty so nothing unexpected, but he did come around plenty. There was 5 people in our party, three of us only ordered water and just one virgin margarita and one regular ordered otherwise. Food was only tolerable, nothing to write home about. We don’t care, we were just all happy to be together and we always tip over 20% no matter what. My husband paid the bill. When we were on our way home he told me the bill was $150 before tip, $180 afterwards. We did some math and it didn’t make sense, except if the gratuity was already added in to the bill. It is absolutely my husband’s fault for not looking at the bill, but there was definitely nothing mentioned about it when we were handed the bill. This is a heads up to future patrons. It’s just really irking me!

We love Mexican and were looking forward to a nice meal to celebrate my friend’s new job. I ordered Chicken Mole, $20.99, with corn tortillas. [Interjecting here to say my pet peeve is the “careful, plate is hot” warning. It invariably means: “plate just came out of the oven, food just came out of the fridge” Dishonest and insulting!] Instead of corn tortillas, I got flour. No biggie because I like both, but maybe waiter should start writing orders with pen on paper to ensure correct items are served? The horror however was the meal. Chicken tasted like it was fried up a day or two before, dry and tasteless, with mole sauce barely warmed and poured on. How can the chicken in Chicken Mole not taste like mole? Not wanting to put up a damper on a happy occasion, I ate a few bites with a tortilla and took the rest home. Ending up tossing it all the next day. Very, very, disappointing. Pains me to give such a bad review to a small business, but this was truly one of the worst restaurant meals I’ve had in forever.

Best flan I’ve ever had. (I don’t even really like flan). The deserts were awesome. The food was pretty good. The appetizer platter and some dessert is the way to go here for sure.

I get things are really crazy during Covid-19, and I know that a lot of places are having to adapt to curbside…however this was kind of a mess. Our bill was around $43, in which we purchased the half pitcher of the blended mango margarita, a quesadilla, and a 3 taco dinner. We asked if they had steak and mushrooms for the quesadilla, and they did not, so we asked for chicken instead and to add pico. We asked for bottled water which they said they did not have, and then said that cups were fine. We were told there was only sink water and my fiancé just said not to worry about it. I saw a facebook post from them on June 5th offering free bottled water, so I guess they gave all of their waters away.
ANYWAY, that aside…when we pulled up for curbside, the service was pretty quick. We asked for cups for our margarita and was told they did not have any cups. We then went to the park to eat our meal and realized they got our order wrong. They had a steak quesadilla instead of chicken. As we started eating, things tasted just O.K. The pico was really strange and a super small amount for $1.00. We thought that the rolled up napkin that was banded had utensils for my fiancé’s rice and beans…but we unrolled it after having sipped on our margarita jointly for awhile, and SURPRISE!!! Two straws? NO utensils at all. He had to eat the rice and beans with the condiment cup cover.
I was surprised based on our visit that this place was so highly rated. I would have only rated 2 stars if it wasn’t for the blended mango margarita. That thing was delicious!

The food by and large is nothing special but it’s certainly not bad – solid tex mex. Really enjoyed the more traditional chile sauce in the enchiladas special. Very friendly service.

Skip Chili’s for Fajitas & COME TO LOS LOBOS. The attn. to detail by staff is awesome. It felt like stepping out to a Cali restaurant of authentic flavors & aesthetics unmatched in moons! The ambiance was just right & not obnoxious. Their timeliness was perfect. Portions were beyond generous & chefs cooked our meals to perfection with a salsa that had the perfect punch. Creative drink selections & kids will enjoy the birthday celebration with staff helping to make it a memorable familia momento. As said before, the service is lacking. The food was good, but my plate was so hot it smelled like the plastic table cloth was burning! Also, they have some of the worst chips I have ever had in a Mexican restaurant. Would I go back? Possibly…

Me and the wife decided to try a new place to night for dinner we decided on Mexican and that is why we ended up at lobos service was fast but didn’t seem overly friendly my wife ordered a bowl of enchilada soup and that is definitely not what they brought out very little stuff added to it almost like just a broth I ordered the #24 burrito portions where good but the quality was not there did not taste very fresh and I got the be careful the plate is extremely hot and the fried ice cream was definitely not fried it was rock solid out of the freezer with an off flavor to it and to top it off what Mexican restaurant ever charges for chips
