With so many Mexican restaurants to choose from and friends having thier favorites, I don’t find myself at this particular Mexican restaurant often. But when I do eventually find my way back, I always ask myself, “why do I ever eat anywhere else?”.
I love guacamole: I’ve consumed it in Mexico and typically find local locations to fall short. Not at Taqueria el Patron. Absolutely delicious. Truly authentic.
Ive yet to find a menu item that I didn’t love. My last visit I ordered the Bria Tacos and couldn’t finish: they are STUFFED with delicious shredded beef and just the right amount of cilantro, onion and cheese. Additionally, I was thrilled to NOT have huge chunks of fat within a bite (which has happened at other lications).
You simply can not order the wrong thing. My guess is absolutely everything is delicious and you’ll definitely get your hard earned dollars worth.

I ordered my food to go, I ordered 3 meals and they came out with in 5 minutes. My food was cold. The presentation of the food was horrible! I bit into aluminum shard/shaving. It scraped my tongue. Waste of time and money going the there. I will never go there again. First and last time

I got the grande burrito with carne asada. The steak wasn’t a cheap cut like you usually get with cali mex, and everything was really good. The prices are really reasonable. I’ll be back!

Ordered new dish. Chicken milanesas breast or you could get steak. See pics below of how it looked on menu. I am not complaining about everything just because the chicken was fried, paper thin and tasted like fish grease, but the guac was old looking and the pico was rancid. Of course the employees don’t care. And ignored me which was adding to my frustration. I didn’t want to be upset (trying to exude personal growth) so I came home and cooked something simple and went to bed.

We sat in a very cushy booth and enjoyed enchiladas and chori pollo, which was so delicious! I had a margarita and it was also delicious!
I love how comfortable the staff made us feel, and how sweetly they helped us with our weak heritage Spanish!
We are already planning another visit!
This would be a great place for a party because for a group they put a margarita machine right on the table!

The inside decorations were very unique and interesting. I must say I really like it. Apart from the decorations, the food was enjoyable and good. It was my first time there, and I enjoyed myself. God bless

Went here for dinner and waited a bit for a server to come to the table. After the server came to the table we struggled to communicate due to the language barrier. Due to this our order was messed up. I’m not able to consume alcohol due to health reasons and so I asked for a drink to be made without the alcohol. When I got my drink I took one sip and was hit by the strong taste of alcohol. I called the server over which took another bit of time to come over and told her I ordered the drink without the alcohol and the alcohol is strong in the drink. I still don’t think she understood what I was saying. I quickly finished my meal which was easy to do since the portion size was so small, paid for my meal and left. If it was impossible for my drink to be made without the alcohol then that should have been explained to me. I will not be returning.

Unwilling to fix their mistake.called and they had me on the phone for 14 minutes to keep relaying messages between the cook, employees, and “boss”. The girl literally hung up and I kept calling just for them to ignore the call purposely multiple times. I should’ve believed the other reviews about their terrible customer service. Definitely getting refunded for this garbage and reporting this location. You can be rude to everyone because you don’t know who you are speaking to sometimes. My order was cold and the tortillas were hard. Instead of them fixing it they just gave me three plain cold tortillas in aluminum foil. Who ever the “boss” is was very rude and lazy about it having the employee relay messages making it seem like it was the dasher’s fault because they wait for them to get there. However, I have proof of ordering from them MULTIPLE times and my food has still been fresh, hot, and NOT cold and hard. I’ve had birria tacos a lot so I know the difference and these were literally hard and cold smh. Better off going to one of the other places for birria tacos and more importantly better customer service.

The food here is good! My friend got the burrito grande and I got the birria tacos. Both were very good. The salsa is very mild, I prefer hotter, but the flavor was okay. The birria tacos tasted authentic and were well seasoned, but the consume is thinner than some birria I have had. The atmosphere is chill – seat yourself and the service is prompt. My friend said there was pico de gallo in the burrito and that gave it a nice flavor. Overall, this was a great lunch experience and wr enjoyed it.

This restaurant is just as good as the 1st one on Washington rd. With one exception and is a minor one that involves the Fresh salsa. It’s not made the same way. But other than that the service was excellent and the waitresses were very friendly.
Unlike the original location, this one has alcoholic beverages. From domestic and imported beer to spirits for that margarita.
