It’s in the mall so your atmo mileage may vary but it’s a decent enough plate o’ ‘yaki and the people who work there are fast and friendly.

Food was bland, they gave me more rice than anything else. I was a little confused, tried to order a meal, instead of telling me that there was no meal combo the cashier just said “yeah yeah”. Then I saw it was just my plate of food. They definitely lack a little in customer service, there was no one else besides me ordering and I felt like I was being rushed.
There’s a place in Washington square mall similar, but its Def worth it, with better flavor and portion size.

Side dish was green cabbage warm no flavor. We ordered chicken and shrimp teriyaki with steamed rice cost $15. That is about the average at the food court. A bottled water (Kirkland at Costco 25 cents) was charged $1.50, on their menu posted $2.25.

Food was mediocre. Ordered the chicken and veggie yakisoba style. Noodles had no flavor and since they cooked them on the grill for less than 4 minutes they weren’t really cooked so they were mostly wet and soggy. Veggies were soggy and had no flavor. I also got a fountain drink since I was eating there. NO WHERE on the menu or on the window doesn’t state refills are a charge. Or else I would’ve not purchased a drink. She said it’s $1 for a refill. You don’t even get one refill free. If one refill charges it needs to be on the menu by the drinks stating that. Go somewhere else.

Nori Japan is a hidden gem for quick and delicious Japanese cuisine. Whether you’re in the mood for teriyaki chicken, beef, or fresh stir-fried veggies, everything is cooked hot and fresh right in front of you. The portions are generous, especially for the price, and the flavors are always on point—savory, slightly sweet, and perfectly balanced.
The chicken teriyaki is a standout—tender, juicy, and glazed with just the right amount of sauce. Their fried rice and noodles are also great options, and everything comes together as a satisfying meal. The staff is friendly and efficient, making it easy to grab a great lunch even on a busy day.
If you’re at the mall or passing by, Nori Japan is definitely worth a stop. It’s fast food, but with quality and flavor that goes above expectations.

Getting Beef Udon is always hit or miss because even the better Japanese restaurants probably won’t have it. Here we are at the MALL of all places and I’m impressed. Beef udon, complete with fish cake, bamboo shoots and kobu.

I love Norijapan when I go to clackamas mall I usually eat here at Nori and I love their chicken and fried rice! But sometimes the veggies are not fresh even though it is okay I hope they will see the comments and try to make a better veggie! The workers are friendly and nice ! Go and try it!

12/18/18: 4.0 out 5 – For all intent and purpose, I am looking at the food and taste through the perspective as being “mall food”.
Nori Japan has been at the Clackamas Town Center for a long while. It’s been at least six years since I last had Nori Japan. In my honest opinion, the food has improved. It’s tasty…not much for presentation, but good.
As for the service of the staff, I got good service and it was attentive. What more can you ask for at the mall food court?
The one thing I noticed was the extra menus for ramen, sushi and salads. Haven’t tried any yet, but some day I may.
I like to believe I know know something about food. After all, I am my own chef and foodie or sorts. Plus, read my other reviews and see where I’ve been.
As I always say, try it once and decide for yourself.
Enjoy!
