We went on Christmas Eve for lunch. It wasn’t busy at all. I had the original grand slam… Could have forgone everything but the pancakes and bacon, because they were delicious. My dinner friend had the lunch special burger and fries, and she was happy with her order.

I had a very good experience with Dennys in fernwood. I was there for breakfast and boy oh boy they have some really good food in there! By all means get the loaded breakfast sandwich meal if you want a good breakfast for the money! Their hash browns are almost unbeatable! And the service is amazing! The prices are not bad at all in my opinion.
Update: I was here for supper and had the double cheeseburger and my brother had the triple bacon cheeseburger and they were both huge and delicious! This place is amazing!

I stopped in for a meal today and had a fantastic experience thanks to Destiny J. I was dining alone, and she took great care of me. My T-Bone & Eggs were cooked to perfection (rare, just how I asked!), and the Salted Caramel Cold Brew was delicious. Destiny even helped me get two plain hamburger patties for my dog, which I really appreciated. Great food and even better service. 5 stars!

I have eaten at Denny’s all across the United States. Ate at one Denny’s 80 times while working in the Pacific Northwest and another over 40 times in Alamagordo, N.M.
It made good business sense this was included a New truck stop BC there ARE MANY eateries in the area that cater to the locals. But a INTERSTATE Restaurant WAS DESPERATELY Needed.
The truck stop and Denny’s had been opened Only a Month. So I was surprised to see how empty the restaurant was. The hostess that seated me, tho young, acted like she was ready for retirement. I was only their sixth customer so I expected speedy service But ALL the employees WERE focused on things I could not see. Being seated next to the back counter, I was noticed and approached with a menu. I asked the waitress to give me some time to look at the menu. ( that was a mistake ). The menu WAS IMPROVED since the last time I ate at a Denny’s. The waitress returned and I placed my order. While waiting I focused on the atmosphere and coherence of the employees. There was no sense of enjoyment from any of the employees toward each other.
My food was served without being asked if there was anything else I would need. After looking at my plate and what was on the table as far as condiments, I had to flag her down ( which took several minutes ) to ask for jelly for my toast. There were NO positives on the food itself. The hashbrowns WERE GREASY and that WAS a 1st for me eating at any restaurant.
Overall, I have to struggle to give it the rating I did. BASED ON ALL THE OTHER Denny’s I HAVE eaten at, this one WAS disappointing ( not BAD ) but below average. ESPECIALLY for a NEW restaurant. GOOD THING it WILL HAVE Interstate business BC it CAN’T compete with LOCAL ESTABLISHED eateries.

We to this Denny’s this past Friday night, we will be back. Food was better than good, Server was better than wonderful. She didn’t let our cups get empty, she was very friendly, and was even able to help us navigate the menu. My husband was most impressed with her waiting on all of the tables by herself. We were there for well over an hour and no one else came, it was the busiest we’d seen it in a while. She was able to interact with the 5 different tables she had when we arrived, and make everyone feel special. There was another woman helping to seat guests and helping people come in for to go orders. She was the sweetest lady too. I didn’t catch her name, but our server was named Marsha. I won’t forget because my husband kept saying it three times in a row. (I think Marsha said Mrs. Burg[???]) It was truly an awesome dining experience, A lot of us older people don’t do online reviews, there should be comment cards for the customers to answer on if they wanted to as they exit the restaurant.

This had to be hands down the worst service I’ve had in a while. Service was very slow and they were not busy. When we finally got our order it was not hot at all. The waitress never came and asked if we needed refill or anything. From time of being seated to finally leaving was right at 2 hours. It would have been longer because I placed an order to go at same time I ordered my main food and they never cooked it so I told them to remove it from my ticket. Long story short. I definitely do not recommend.

Waited to be seated. Waited for food. I watched our food sit in the pass for over five minutes. I ordered a grand slam and it came out 1 item at a time. The pancakes, first out, were hard. They were difficult to cut with a knife. Had to ask for coffee refill. Staff just walked past and ignored us.

It would be better if the employees would actually speak. No manners, courtesy or willing to even smile. Give them your order, they just turn and walk off without saying a word. Have to wave your hands in the air to get a coffee refill. Food not a deal , won’t be back.

The Nachos didn’t have what the picture said it would have. They sent me a plate of cheese, meat and chips. There was no veggies added i was disappointed, but hey life goes on you cant expect everyone to take pride in their work like you would.
