Ordered a pizza for pick-up, I’ve never had a problem with papa Murphy’s and have loved them for years, but I’m half way through my pizza, and I’ve had 3 long hairs in my pizza so far. This is disgusting. Please make sure some people have hairnets or like a bun and hat or something if needed….

I ordered two pizzas and just picked them up. As I was grabbing the pizzas on the shelf, one of the employees muttered something to me about “no tip”. I wasn’t 100 percent sure I heard that right, so I looked at the second employee behind the counter who was looking directly at me laughing. Really strange vibe in there. I’m not sure why this guy assumed he was entitled to some huge tip for putting an uncooked pizza in shrink wrap, but tip culture has gotten pretty far out of hand if I’m subject to ridicule from an employee for not tipping at papa murphys.
So here’s a tip to the young, bitter man behind the counter. If your employer isn’t paying you enough, go work in a real restaurant or pizza joint where you can deliver pies for tips.

Right after I pushed an online order through, I saw a BOGO offer for large pizzas on FB. I told the store that I understood if they couldn’t do anything like take money off of my order since it was already made, but they did!!!

My top notch review has been edited as this place has gone down hill in my Opinion. It use to be excellent and now it’s hit and miss. Last time we got a Pizza here it was lacking sauce. It was very dry actually. We were told at that visit we also had a free medium pizza that we had earned. Well tonight we decided to claim that Pizza and called them and the guy told my wife he could not look it up, we have to come in and look it up at the kiosk. So we did not place any order and drove all the way over there to find out that when we entered our number we had no pizza. This was a JOKE. I doubt that I will be doing business there anymore. Why is it they can not look it up over the phone anymore like last time when they took our order???
Also, the last time we had an issue we were told the manager only comes in during the morning and then is gone and he will be calling us. He never did.
Not sure that is the type of place you want to give your business too and we learned tonight our thoughts were right..

My best experience with any Papa Murphy’s in the Cedar Rapids area!! All of the employees are SO nice, considerate and personable. They listen to what you order, ask/double check so they don’t make any mistakes, and greet you when you enter and exit. That’s true customer service, and it goes a LONG with me. Keep up the awesome work!!!

Great staff! They really help you navigate and get the best deals. The rewards club helps too and is easy to use. I loved the fresh gorgeous food. It kept in my fridge until we wanted to cook and eat it. Just wonderful!
