We had a wonderful experience at Koi Sushi and Izakaya!

The staff was fantastic friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Their service really elevated the entire dining experience.

The food was absolutely splendid. Everything we ordered was fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. You can tell they take pride in both the quality of their ingredients and the preparation.

Great service, great atmosphere, and excellent food. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Went out looking for an Izakaya for lunch. This place is right next to H Mart. Super tiny with modern but traditional decor. Variety of cuisine from Japanese to Korean. Me and my buddy tried a bunch of small plates. Chicken karaage, shrimp tempora roll, tuna roll, and ramen. Everything was great. Dipping sauces where amazing. Super crispy chicken. I think out least favorite was the ramen but solid non the less. Our servers were amazing. For lunch the do complementary miso soup and small traditional salad. They even drop off the check with small candies. Great spot!

Amazing service from the staff. The mentaiko pasta was the highlight. Really enjoyed the izakaya I love how they have everything that you want in a Japanese restaurant: sushi, katsu, tempura, ramen, and izakaya. Will definitely come back to try all their other items on the menu.

I came here for the first time today and was impressed by the hospitality (shoutout to Daniel and John!), attention to detail, and quality of food. I had no idea there was such a good spot for sushi here in Dallas! I got the Korean sashimi bowl, and it was so fresh and filling. Can’t wait to come back again!

an okay experience! We got the karaage, salmon, Japanese sea bass, amber jack and unagi nigiri, baby tiger roll and cream udon. The salmon was the best! It tasted fresh and melted in your mouth. The other pieces were just okay. I expected more for 4/piece. The roll had a bit too much sauce that we couldn’t enjoy the roll itself. The creamy udon had tiny pieces of shrimp, and while it had good flavor — I would have appreciated larger pieces of shrimp or other pieces of seafood. The service was subpar, as no one checked on us to see how we liked the food, ask for refills, see if we needed a box or if we wanted any dessert. For the price point, I would have liked for someone to at least check on us and better quality food!

Salmon and squid were grilled perfectly and the sushi (I already ate half of it in the picture) had good portion size and quality. Service was great as well. Will come back again if I am in town!

I was really really blown away by the quality of food here! The mentaiko udon was SO creamy, garlicky, and perfectly salty. It was by far the most well-balanced and flavorful cream udon I’ve ever had. We tried the madai and suzuki sashimi– both tasted incredibly clean and fresh (again, the little things like lemon zest are so well thought out and complimented the flavors). The jjamppongtang was flavorful and just the right amount of spice to cut through the heaviness of the other dishes. Not a single dish on our table was too salty, too bland, or too sweet, and that’s so rare. Not to mention, the prices are very reasonable, service was nice, and the interior was pretty cozy.

Cozy Japanese izakaya restaurant. The menu is fairly authentic with very decent Ramen (the noodle of my Tonkotsu ramen was served too soft to my liking but the soup was delicious)

Amazing sushi spot — highly recommend!
Koi Sushi and Izakaya was a great experience from start to finish. The restaurant is clean, modern, and has a cozy vibe that makes it perfect for a casual dinner or a night out. The fish tasted very fresh, and the rolls were well-balanced with great presentation. The sashimi was especially impressive.
Service was friendly and attentive, and the food came out at a good pace. They also have a nice izakaya-style menu, so it’s a great place to enjoy small plates with a drink. I’ll definitely be coming back!
