Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

I love Whataburger and will stop often if there’s one convenient along my travels. Today I ate at this one, and wanted to leave a review about it because of the great experience I had. I ordered through the drive through but decided to just pull in a spot and eat in my truck instead of eating while driving. A gentleman (Marcus Cox) walked up to my window to simply ask “How’s the food?”. I responded “It’s very good!” and then noticed he had a Whataburger logo on his jacket. We spoke a bit about his role in the company, overseeing a number of stores in GA, and then he introduced me to the new manager of this specific Whataburger, A’Naya. Both of them were the epitome of professional – and couldn’t have been friendlier. I decided to walk inside and found it to be very clean, and well designed. The food was fantastic! I had no wait in the drive through at peak lunch hours and overall just had a wonderful experience. I like to give people credit when they’re doing their job well – and this location, Marcus, and A’Naya are all doing it very well! Highly recommend stopping by and showing this Whataburger some love!

Good morning I am currently at 1070 McFarland PKWY and I pulled up to place an order at the drive thru. I requested a number 11 large no salt on fries and a shake. I was told the shake machine was down due to them cleaning it because they closed at 2pm. However I pulled up between 1:25am-1:30am. I then requested sweet tea large with light ice. I pull forward and the manager or shift leader she said the tea has expired and no tea is available also. Not I do not drink carbonated drinks. Y’all ain’t coming up here to assist me. The entire team walked away from the window. The Hispanic lady was the manager on duty that refused to provide her name.

Great experience every time! Came for a quick bite before work. The staff is friendly, fast, and always makes sure the order is done right. The food is fresh, hot, and exactly how I like it. You can tell the team really cares about customer service.

Don’t order anything on DoorDash from this place. Placed my order, called the store and politely requested to have my drink made with lite-ice since DoorDash doesn’t give the option. Woman on the phone sounded very nice but drink still showed up PACKED full of Ice. Burger shows up lukewarm and dry like the patty had been sitting on the grill plate for 20 minutes. Fries were ICE cold. And this is the FAMOUS Monterey melt with all of 5 peppers and onions on it. Disgraceful. The Whataburger is a .7 mile drive from where I am. I’m a semi truck driver so I can’t just pull in and have them remake my order nor would I trust them to. Avoid this place.

Very accommodating I have gluten allergy and they were still able to provide me with a safe alternative. Big thank you to the GM Anayah for being so kind to me and my family when we went in. We will definitely be coming back to this location in the near future

Food was fine. The wait was a bit excessive — 18 mins from the time I ordered. Gotta say I don’t like the whole kiosk-replacing-human experience. If I wanted that I’d go to McDonald’s. I suspect today’s problem was that they were short-staffed. Garbage was getting full, out of sweet tea, out of med lids. There was rarely a person at the register. Even with kiosks you should always have a person at the register. Love Whataburger. Hope they get this store figured out

We were the only ones in the lobby it took over 25 minutes to for us to get our food. The french fries came out very very salty and very cold. I wasn’t about to send them back as I didn’t have that much time to wait for fresh ones.
All the people who came in after us didn’t have to wait long for their food.

So I ordered two large meals, and I received my fries half full. I just don’t like the fact that it looks the same quantity as the medium fries. The sandwiches were good and so the milkshakes. I’m just disappointed about the quantity of fries that is given.
