The food was perfect. I’ve been to nearly every Thai restaurant in town and this is one of the best and will go into my rotation. I especially loved the wok-y flavors. Fantastic lunch specials!
Kai and Luis were outstanding with their customer service. The food holds authentic Thai flavor, cooked to perfection, and vibrant color. Every detail in the restaurant does not got unnoticed, from upholstered seats and benches, to the elegant dinnerware, and shining chandeliers. Eating Thai cuisine at Savoey was an experience, to say the least.
We will definitely be returning to enjoy more meals.
Upon entering, the foyer’s lighting creates a beautiful interplay of light and shadow, with pearlescent pendants hanging overhead like celestial bodies above polished terrazzo floors. The reflections create a gentle ballet of illumination, setting a serene tone that prepares diners for the culinary delights to follow. Luxurious textiles adorn the walls, reminiscent of silk at a Bangkok celebration, while bespoke metalwork in burnished rose gold and obsidian adds an artisanal touch rarely seen in Pan-Asian concepts in the American West.
The dinnerware is also carefully chosen to reflect a deep appreciation for aesthetics. Each plate, crafted from porcelain and featuring a unique glazed finish, rests on hand-woven indigo and ash placemats. The flatware is designed for an enjoyable tactile experience — its weight feels intentional — and the glassware captures the ambient light, inviting diners into a world where each sip contributes to a multisensory experience of taste and illumination.
Savoey Thai Eatery is not your typical pad thai restaurant. Instead, it presents a groundbreaking culinary exploration that honors the rich traditions of Thai cooking while interweaving modern dining concepts. It skillfully balances homage, innovation, and reinterpretation, securing a noteworthy place in Las Vegas’s culinary landscape — a space where the interplay of familiarity and novelty harmoniously converges.
My meal began with chicken satay, served as an artful arrangement of grilled skewers that showcased the craftsmanship of artisanal cooking — their warm hues evoked burnished amber and glowing embers. The peanut sauce transcended a mere condiment, offering a rich, savory flavor with a subtle hint of sweetness, complemented by the acidity of house-pickled cucumbers that provided a refreshing contrast with each bite.
The drunken noodles, a staple in my culinary experience, arrived reimagined, executed with the confidence of a classic theme interpreted through a modern lens. Brimming with a balanced combination of proteins — chicken, beef, and pork — the noodles had a perfect al dente texture that hinted at meticulous cooking. The medium spice level was precisely calculated, providing a gentle warmth that was inviting rather than overpowering. Each forkful engaged the aromatic notes of sweet basil alongside the delicate, fermented undertones of the sauce — a delightful interplay of flavors that left me wanting more.
In its early days, Savoey Thai Eatery does more than serve impeccable versions of beloved dishes; it proposes a new perspective on how Thai food can be experienced in the realm of elevated dining. It creates a paradigm where the historical depth of Thai cuisine — its harmonious balance of sweet, sour, salty, bitter, and umami — is both celebrated and evolved. This restaurant positions itself not just as a dining venue but as a center of culinary thought leadership in Las Vegas’s ever-changing gastronomic scene.
In summary, Savoey Thai Eatery opens not just a restaurant but a culinary exploration! — one that suggests Thai cuisine can achieve the same high status traditionally associated with Eurocentric fine dining. It offers a feast for the mind as much as the palate, and through its evocations of light, texture, and flavor, it promises to be a lasting destination for discerning food enthusiasts.
The service was attentive and professional, which made the experience even more enjoyable. We also tried dessert, and it did not disappoint—everything was beautifully presented and tasted amazing.
Overall, Savoey offers excellent food, great service, and a refined ambiance. I’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend it.
