What can I say you wanna try something different this is a spot. You can build your own salad or get one of their signature salads plus they have wraps and let me tell you they’re amazing. We tried the jalapeño wrap and the chipotle wrap and it did not disappoint. Most definitely coming back. Love the customer service and I love the atmosphere highly recommend you guys come and check them out.

This is such a great place!! It’s a true gem in downtown Colton. Firstly, it’s so cute! It is decorated so nicely. Secondly, the food is both fresh and delicious. We tried the create-your-own salads and they are amazing! You get a lot of food for the price. And lastly, the staff are so friendly and helpful. They also speak both English and Spanish, which is perfect for our area. We are fans and will be returning soon. Definitely give them a try, you’ll love it!

We wanted to build our own salads for a meal so we decided to try Smart Salads – these days it’s difficult to find a custom salad place as many have gone out of business. Firstly, they only have a tiny parking lot in the back and some street parking, though we didn’t have difficulty finding a spot since it was not during a peak time (around 4pm). There are a couple of tables inside and outside but it’s primarily a takeout business. For salads you select small, medium or large and then your choice of veggies (which includes nuts etc), proteins, toppings and dressing. It’s a fixed price, not by weight though they do seem to weigh the proteins. I found the selections to be adequate though I did miss having hard boiled eggs. The price may seem on the high side but they pack the bowls very full and a small one was plenty enough for lunch in my case. The ingredients seem fresh and service was good. They also offer wraps, sandwiches, and a protein drink. Overall we enjoyed this place. On the other hand, for a little more you can get AYCE salads and more at a place like Soup ‘n Fresh. Smart Salads is a good healthy option for takeout and I’m glad they’re here.
