I was visiting New Jersey for my cladding reunion. Having grown up in New Jersey before moving South, I was seriously craving real New York/New Jersey pizza!. This place met and exceeded my expectations! The pizza was just as I remembered and expected from an authentic pizza joint! DELICIOUS!! PETFECT!! I will go there again next time I visit Newark!!

My hubby and I stopped by for breakfast. Skeptical at first but gave it a shot anyways. It superseded our expectations. We had the number two combo with beef bacon. Beef bacon was amazing. I had cheese on my hash brown which was well flavored. Also had rye bread which I enjoy. The Owner was there and provided us with great customer service!

Good but not great. Could have used more cheese. Large slice of Sicilian. Onion taste is sauce – good and slightly different from other pizzerias. $4.75 inc tax. About $4.50 without tax. Cheese okay but not very flavorful. The eggplant pizza looked good. Will try that next. Crust wasn’t crunchy. I should have asked to put it in the oven.

A good spot to grab lunch in downtown Newark. They have breakfast, cold and hot sandwiches. Pizzas are sold as pies or slices. Food quality overall good, though I’d have liked them to use softer breads for our cheesesteaks. The garlic bread is average.

They have a huge canteen like area for dine-in, plenty of space to sit and enjoy meal with your team/group.

Lisa (bleached blonde hair, appears to be afro Latino) lacks professionalism and customer service. She was unkind, and even the T-shirt she was wearing sated “not very friendly, so don’t approach”. How can an establishment allow their employees to wear attire displaying that language & actually doing that behavior. Stay away from this cardboard pizza

It sadness my heart to hear and see the disrespect. Not to speak about the unsanitary that goes on. The walking around coughing all over the place, no one wears gloves while preparing customers food. I hope their professionalism improves drastically!!!!
