Great dive bar in Binghamton directly across from the Rumble Ponies Stadium.
We were early going to the game and saw Mad Monk’s across the street.
We always like to eat and drink with the locals when we travel so this place was perfect.
The Batman and the regulars were very welcoming and didn’t make us feel like we were intruding.
The beer was cheap and the interior was filled with picture of the regulars and assorted sports stuff.
If you are going to a game make sure you stop pre or post game or both at Mad Monk’s.

Classic. Absolutely a classic. No food. Owner and regulars were welcoming. Cold drinks and friendly service. Loved it.

Great place to have a post-game beer (or three!) Owner is very nice, and the patrons are all cool. Old School hole in the wall like stepping back in time. Cheers!

When Charlie left the convent almost 40 years ago to open Mad Monks they said he was crazy. Who’s crazy now? Best bar in Binghamton! Still going strong all these years later.

Come down Saturday nights and play trivia! Great questions and cash prizes, friendly folks. No bar food here, it cost them that last star
