We flew out to visit our family in the area during this holiday season. As soon as we got out from the airport, consider of flying for many hours, we checked some reviews and Pho 5 Up Hanover made it on the top of our list, so surely here we’re to dine-in on the weekend.
Wow.. summer roll with peanut sauce was outstanding and spicy noodle soup was a boom, especially in this cold winter. The menu is pretty simple though offers few varieties of options.
Sadly, we sat next to a family who brought meals from outside of the restaurant (what a shame) and gave attitudes to the servers very rudely, however, the both servers appeared to handle the situation very efficient and very professional. Our foods were served pretty quick with right temperatures despite of full house in the restaurant. The restaurant is cozy, facility is clean, music is welcoming, price is righteously affordable and what impress us the most is how super friendly the servers are. Very engaging, courteous and accommodating to our needs as well as go above and beyond from our observations. We are corporate travelers and very well aware in the hospitality industry. Definitely these weekender servers need to be recognized by their superiors and kudos to them! Thank you very much Pho 5 Up Hanover! We got out from your restaurant satisfyingly stuffed with a big happy smiles. Thank you for your hard work and always keep it up!

Absolutely blown away by Pho sup! We had the beef combo pho, summer beef pork roll, mango jelly milk tea and spicy beef noodles soup. The broths were rich, savory, and deeply flavorful seriously meaty! with generous portions of tender meat and noodles. The herbs were so fresh, and the balance of flavors was spot on – truly felt like authentic pho. Service was incredibly friendly. A new favorite spot for sure! Highly recommend!

My recent visit to this restaurant left much to be desired. While the ambiance was okay not so good , the service was significantly lacking. Our server seemed more preoccupied with their own meal at another table than attending to our needs. We had to actively try to get their attention for basic requests, and unfortunately, our ordered lemonade was completely forgotten. It’s disappointing when the staff appears inattentive and doesn’t prioritize customer service. Hopefully, this was an off night, but based on this experience, I’m hesitant to return.

Very authentic pho and can compete with other pho places near-by for the tastes, price, and portions! We dine-in but also do take-out and delivery often. Would highly recommend getting appetizers like the appetizer rolls with your pho as it just goes so well together. Oh, and don’t forget to get a tea as a sweet desert after.
Would highly recommend if you’re craving fresh hot soup or if you’re just feeling unwell and can only stomach pho when sick like I do lol.

This place deserves 10 stars!!! And was worth the drive, with its authentic vietnamese taste. For someone who grew up around vietnamese culture and friends I am super picky with Pho and where I eat. I came down to go to arundel mills mall and was craving hot bowl of soup and Pho5up came up on my gps and thought it was worth a try after reading good reviews and boy am I glad I did. The Pho was absolutely on point and fresh and they are not at all stingy with the meat! I also ordered a milk tea and it was absolutely delicious. Great Atmosphere and friendly employees. It extremely welcoming and would definitely make the drive back just to have pho. And for someone who cant ever finish the bowl this pho will have u demolishing ur food! We will be back and cant thank the staff enough for giving us such a great meal!°

I stopped here for a quick lunch break, and the food was very hot and delicious that was ready in less that five minutes after I ordered. Their broth was so flavorful. Server was friendly and professional. Highly recommend it.

Great food & service. Veggie & tofu pho was a bit lacking (only had cabbage and and broccoli). Small plate of bean sprouts with lime came free with each bowl. Cilantro-soap-gene-havers beware, they load up all the broths with the stuff. Good milk tea with several flavor options.

We are so happy that we found this place. The food is totally excellent. We had the beef combo pho and and the appetizer summer roll. And the mango milk tea with jelly Was over the top. This place is amazing. Give it a try and you will be glad you did!!!

This place seriously knows how to do pho right! 3rd time here and I ordered the shrimp pho, and it completely exceeded my expectations. The broth was light yet deeply flavorful, with a subtle sweetness that paired perfectly with the tender, perfectly cooked shrimp. The noodles were silky and fresh, and the herbs and toppings—especially the fresh cilantro, basil, and lime—really brought it all together.

Ordered a take-out from here. And I did enjoy it. I had the tofu option but requested extra spice cause that was what I was craving. Really enjoyed it, including my kids.
