Stopped in on our way through from Pontiac to Lansing. Service was quick and helpful with the food menu considering it was later in the night (after 10pm) and we were looking to get something to eat as well as drinks. Our party got two apps, 4 bottles of beer, a draft beer and a diet Coke for under $40. Karaoke was going on, so it was a little loud for conversation, so we just joined in the fun at our table. Overall a great visit! Would definitely go back to try other things from the menu.

Great broasted chicken & shoe string fries for a good price. We go just for the chicken! Great 2 person dinner for less than $30

Whoo hoo, Da Shoe! A nice little bar on the outskirts of Fowlerville! Easily seen from Grand River, lots of parking, lot is well lit and busy! Food is ok but this place is better for drinks. Staff is friendly and helpful

DA SHOE!

We had a very large group in attendance among the rest of the patrons. They were a bit short handed to handle the huge crowd for a Saturday night.

There was a wait at the bar to get drinks on your own and a wait for the servers to get back to us. They did the best they could for the extremely busy night.

The food is always good. The broasted chicken is yummy. The beers are large and nice and cold!

The atmosphere was pretty loud especially after the digital DJ and karaoke started playing. On a normal day it is usually quiet.

The parking lot is large but it really needs to be paved. For years the lot has been dirt with pot holes.

Check it out!

I would categorize this as a dive bar, but they might not. They have great food (their chicken is outstanding) and strong, inexpensive drinks. The Bartender was very nice and chatted us up. We had a pleasant visit and will be looking forward to our return trip.

The food is standard dive bar food, but it isn’t priced like standard dive bar food. I really wanted to like this place, but you can get much better food, much better beer, and much quicker service for the same price at Old Nation. The bartender/waitress/hostess/busgirl is the only reason for 3 stars instead of 1. She was working her tail off taking care of 20 people by herself. But we waited an hour for a burger and a shrimp basket that was mostly soggy fries. Maybe if you’re just there for the booze it’s a better experience.
