Love Deane’s Market & Deli!! I used to come here all the time when I worked in Geneva. I try to stop by when I’m in the area. I love getting their soups and sandwiches. Lots of fresh items to choose from. The staff is always friendly and helpful when deciding what to order. The food is made quickly as well. Everything has so much flavor and tastes healthy! It’s a quiet and chill atmosphere. You can easily sit and read here, or sit and work. They also have many items you can purchase. Can’t wait to go back, now that it’s soup season in the chilly Midwest!!

The food here is so delicious. Best tomato soup I’ve had in a long time. I love that their red onions are sliced super thin for their sandwiches. Very sweet girl behind the counter taking and making orders.

I think Deane’s just became my favorite local deli. Don’t hesitate to give them your business! One bite into the Italian sandwich and I knew it was top notch. The Italian sub, Turkey sub and pozole soup were all solid, as was the service. Then I tried the cornbread muffin, 11/10 great. Throw in Great Lakes Potato Chips and it’s an easy 5/5 star lunch spot in Geneva, IL.

It pains me to write this review. I love Deanes. But it has gone downhill. The bathrooms are absolutely disgusting. They haven’t been cleaned in months. The tables are dirty and the chairs actually hurt to sit on. But the capper is the owner. He’s rude. But I witnessed him use his hand (yes hand) to put my pasta salad in a cup and then used the same hand to put the mozzarella balls on top (by submerging his hand in the water they were in). Needless to say I didn’t eat any of it. Gross.

Literally the cheapest portions. Expensive salad that left me just as hungry as before I ate it. Really shameful that this was even served at the $$$$ they charge. Sorry you lost a customer, bc this was not the first time. Should’ve learned my lesson the last time!
