I’m so glad we have another breakfast option. Food was great, service a little slow but they are new, so teething problems are to be expected. I’ll be back again tomorrow

Update.. it just gets better every time, and it was quite busy last visit. I’m not so keen on their fries however, tots are great. I’m now a regular here

Where do I even begin? My mom, brother, and myself went into PJ’s yesterday for the 2nd time ever after a Sunday Church Service, and let me tell you something. If you are looking for a filling breakfast or lunch in Hood River that doesn’t break your wallet, you have to come here. They are a new business, and in Hood River, that comes with it’s own challenges, but the wait is absolutely worth it. Service is amazing, even through the wait time, constantly checking-in on everyone, you can’t get that great of service from other places. The atmosphere is off the charts. You can look around and see the dedication of everyone working here. And of course, the food is amazing, and I highly recommend it. Personally, my brother and I had a Fall Special, and I recommend you get it too before it goes off the menu. Shout-out to the crew in the Kitchen yesterday throughout the entire day, and the three girls working the main area around noon when we came in. Everyone in that Cafe made the experience amazing, so shout-out to each and every single one of you. Amazing work in there PJ’s Hometown Cafe, and I hope to go more often. Easiest 5 star review ever.

It was an amazing experience. food was amazing and so were the staff. I love how the staff were so nice and asked me if I was doing okay throughout the whole experience. I love that they have a sourdough bread bowl with soup. It reminded me of a restaurant in San Francisco, California.

Friendly service, good food, and fair prices.

I have been driving by this place for the last few months and think I should stop by sometime whenever I do. I finally got around to it and am glad I did.

They were busy. It was about noon on a Sunday and almost all of the tables were full. Service was still quite prompt. In no time at all I was seated and debating what looked good for lunch,

I settled on their top sirloin steak with eggs. I requested medium on the steak and sunny side up on the eggs and they were both cooked just right. Everything from the those items to the hashbrowns and biscuit on the side were tasty and well-made.

I consider $19 a fair price for a meal of this kind.

I was impressed with the friendly and prompt service and plan on being back in the future. I would recommend this cafe.

We came in on Sunday for breakfast and had a good experience, great, attentive service, the restaurant was clean, and the food was delicious homestyle, perfect amounts, not overly piled on, and the owner, Paula, was the cook that day and even came out to chat with us about her vision for the business, which is good for our little town. Definitely recommend, and we will be returning!

Went for breakfast yesterday came to Hood River for a hike from Milwaukie instead of coming back decided to give it a try my mistake .asked for crispy hash browns. Informed the server I had all the time to wait.20 minutes food came to the table not even remotely crispy although tasted like grease . If I would’ve sent it back my girlfriend would’ve been finished basically payed $ 16.00 dollars for an omelet that was maybe at best McDonald’s quality no flavor and very little filling. Won’t return no option for a zero ratings

So let me start by this. This a new starting business and the owner is a sweetheart. But there is some flaws to this new business. I myself is a local that grew up around these parts for several years. But never have I ever heard of yelling and disrespectful comment/ attitude to their own employees. The point of shutting also a business down. Did have incomplete orders and wasn’t able to get serviced. Down grading employees and not training them properly and expected a result when also you are the one to blame. How do you expect a business to run if yourself isn’t being a leader in the right ways. This is a town not a city. I have came to this bar/ restaurant many years. Now these people are doing the best they can to help you start your business up and the lack of attitude starts with you. How you going to have respect if you don’t give it. The reputation of success you’re looking for will deplete how you think a business will be only ran in your perception.
