Went here for the first time and was super impressed with the AYCE. What a great deal! It’s $30pp, or add $5 for AYCE sashimi which is a steal. I definitely recommend paying extra for sashimi if you like raw fish because then you don’t have to fill up on rice. The hot buffet bar was small but tasty – calamari a bit too chewy, fried chicken moist and good, yummy cream cheese rangoons, hot crab legs, good Japanese style salad. I loved the Yan’s special roll and Crazy Salmon Roll. The dragon roll was the only thing we had that was not good – too much rice and barely any eel filling. Def not worth it on AYCE. The sashimi was THICK cut, delicious, and fresh. The eel is not on the menu for sashimi but our server informed us it was an option, as well as fatty salmon if they had it available. The edamame, kani salad, seaweed salad, yuzu salmon salad were all winners. We definitely will be back. Our server Beth was the best! The restaurant was clean and new, just opened in June.

For $35, Kanji offers Ayce sushi, hibachi and even seafood boil options. Every thing is made to order except the hot food bar and seafood boil. The sushi and sashimi menu was extensive. I loved the salmon, tuna, volcano, Yan’s special and baltimore rolls. The food comes out really quickly and our server was really attentive. The restaurant was very clean and I liked the ambiance here. The seats were comfortable and cozy. Overall, this place offers over 50 items at a great price. It’s a fun place to go and try all Japanese and Asian fusion dishes.

Atmosphere was really dry, I got shrimp tempura and the person I went with got chicken teriyaki and rice with a shrimp tempura and an avocado roll. As I was eating my roll I noticed that my plate was dirty…it was dry wasabi from the previous persons meal left on the plate. The chicken teriyaki was nasty tasted boiled and over cooked! Had a raw taste to it. Buffet was empty. The server Joi was very rude and forceful…after I showed her their dirty plate she put it in the dirty dish pan and went to co-workers and proceeded to talk about me and the person I was with. We got stared at for the remaining time we were there. Nothing was taken off of our bill.

Love kanji all you can eat buffet. I was extremely surprised to see the seafood boil options and they were really great. I enjoyed the wings the sushi, the wontons, the calamari noodles, chicken fried rice, and ice cream. They also had a good iced tea. highly recommend recommended you try them out right inside white marsh mall.

I have been here twice now and the experience has been excellent both times. There is a small hot buffet with fairly decent food. Appetizers are nice, especially the fish appetizers. There is a decent variety of sushi, many of which are more interesting combinations. I think the extra $5 for sashimi is well worth it, as you can then try out many fish on their own. Food comes out fairly fast as well.

We really enjoyed their all you can eat. They had a crab boil, calamari, all of the rolls, including their special rolls available for the all you can eat. Rolls came out quickly and were prepared with care. The crab boil was consistently refreshed and seasoned perfectly! The kids said it was their favorite restaurant. The also have many different dipping sauces, deserts, and a plethora of ice cream.

Sushi rolls were good. The sashimi was not fresh. The hot bar was ok. The dumplings werent fresh. The chicken wings were huge. The steam crabs were skinny There were about 4 tables there and the server hovered around talked over our food and watched us from the sushi bar as if we were going to run out. An Asian lady and im black so I felt a certain way. I would like to try it again because its 30$ but I value good service and not being treated like im going to run out the door.

Overall, decent little spot. Arrived around 4pm not a large crowd. Started to pick up around the time we left which was around quarter to 6. $30 All you can eat sushi and habachi, they also have a small buffet. The buffet had a seafood boil type snow crab legs and mussels those were good!!! (10/10) seasoned well. General Tso (10/10) I had multiple servings of this, fried calamari good, Chicken nuggets (???), Fries (????), fried wontons i believe (4-5/10), fried wings (these were good but they didn’t keep a full pan, bummer…the other side had like fruit small asian desserts (didn’t try so can’t tell you) and a ice cream cooler with little ice cream cups (vanilla chocolate strawberry)…as i’ve read the sushi is okay, but for $30 AUCE hey what do you expect, and taste like the sushi you would get from a grocery store, Habachi a small plate, don’t expect to go here and get what you would from Kobe’s or Kubutos…I had Habachi steak…steak didn’t have much of a taste nor veggies, but again you’re paying $30…The MeelReturn Scale: 4.5-5/10….service was excellent. This is a spot you go to for the kids or Family

We just ate at Kanji Sushi in White Marsh, and it was excellent! It’s technically an all-you-can-eat restaurant, but don’t expect a buffet—there’s no buffet line here. Instead, everything is made to order and served fresh right from the kitchen. You simply order off the menu, and the food comes out beautifully prepared and delicious every time.
We tried several specialty rolls and loved every one of them. Even the basic spicy tuna roll was outstanding—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. The menu also includes hibachi teriyaki rice, noodle dishes, and other hot entrées if you want to mix things up.
At about $30 per person (or $35 if you want sashimi), it’s a great deal considering the quality and freshness of the food. Honestly, the rolls and specialty sushi alone were more than enough for us.
Pro tip: Don’t waste time looking for a buffet when you arrive—everything is ordered right from your table, and that’s part of what makes it so good. Every dish arrives fresh, not sitting under a heat lamp.
My only regret? That my stomach wasn’t bigger—I wanted to try even more rolls! We’ll definitely be back.

So excited that an ayce sushi spot opened so close to me! Kanji located inside the white marsh mall where Green turtle used to be- and maybe even Burger King (back in the 90’s) offers a variety of sushi, small plates and a hot bar. The best part about their offering is that they also offer a seafood boil at their hot bar and I think I enjoyed that the most over the sushi. The boil had that buttery Cajun taste that you would get at a traditional seafood boil. The sushi was also amazing! Everything is made to order and the fish to rice ratio is unreal. You really can’t beat the price !
Our server was also amazing! He was prompt and very attentive. The service here overall was quick and I would highly recommend!
