I have both dined in and gotten carry out many times. Food is always consistent and great, as are the people. Easily the best pizza in the area, you would have to go to Cincinnati to find any real competition.

This famous actress personally told me to come check this place out! It did not disappoint at all! Props to her! I will definitely come again! The crust was superb and the seasoning was spot on! Definitely screams “new york pizza”. Also shout out to fellas who made my pizza! Very cool dudes

Went here for my Birthday Dinner. It was amazing! The sauce is perfect, slightly tangy which I loved. The Crust was so delicious, cooked to perfection. Best NY style pizza in this area. The owner shared the history of how he came to open this restaurant. Inspired by his Grandmother’s. Highly, Highly recommend this place!

True NY style pizza. No flop, crispy crust, amazing. The cheese is my family’s new favorite slice of pizza in the Dayton area. Friendly staff too. Get here immediately if you love pizza.

All around pretty solid. It had a nice little crunch with a even better chew to it. Super fresh and quality ingredients. Only thing for me personally is the sauce is lacking a little something. Definitely not knocking it cause it is good just a personal preference.

Staff was okay, not rude but not very inviting either. They were just there.

Edit: It was Friday evening. I will definitely take you up in that. That was not a knock at all. It was a really good pizza.

Our first time trying this place last night! We were greeted by everyone with such kindness when we walked in and taken care of immediately. We ordered ahead online and got there a little early so they finished up our order and handed it to us with a smile.
The inside or the restaurant is so cute! Modern decor and cozy atmosphere. Everything was so clean. I love that the kitchen area is open so you can watch the magic happen.
The pizza was amazingggg. We got the pepperoni and The Carm. Both completely hit a home run but the Carm…. Just wow. Such a unique and original pizza I haven’t had anywhere before. It was absolute perfection.
I had leftovers today already and it reheats so well too. Also the pizzas are huge for the regular size so absolutely worth the price.
We will most definitely be back!!!

We are a family who loves a Friday night together with some good pizza. I’m always a little nervous when we try a new place as we are a family who likes a variety of different pizzas but man Red Bird is now easily in our top pizza places in Dayton. We are hooked and will for sure be back in the near future! If you haven’t been, go! You will not be disappointed!

As a Massachusetts native, I’ve spent my life spoiled by some of the best pizza in the world. I’ve had the coal-fired legends like Pepe’s in New Haven, classic stops at Sal’s, and I even have a deep appreciation for the unique nostalgia of beach pizza back home. Finding a pie in Ohio that measures up to those standards is usually a losing battle—until I found Red Bird Pizza in Miamisburg.
The crust here is absolutely phenomenal. It has that perfect structural integrity and flavor that usually only comes from years of East Coast tradition. It’s light, flavorful, and serves as the perfect foundation for the rest of the ingredients.
I know Dayton loves its local “square-cut” favorites, but let’s be real: pizza shouldn’t be cut in squares. It’s meant to be folded in half and enjoyed. Red Bird gets that. They are easily out-classing the local competition by sticking to an authentic style that focuses on quality dough and proper technique.
This is officially my new favorite pizza spot in Ohio. If you want a real pie that actually reminds you of the Northeast, this is it.

Stopped by for lunch today, and this place did not disappoint!

Christian is so friendly and personable, and you can tell that the guy really loves what he is doing. It was great chatting with him as he floated around the kitchen preparing orders. Definitely a great guy, and I had a great experience talking to him.

And the pizza? Amazing. The crust had an incredible chew while being a bit crispy which I like. The toppings were thoughtfully placed, and the cook on the pizza was just right.

They have a nice sized dining area, with 2 large tables that would seat 8 or so people, as well as 3-4 smaller tables, a couple of seats in the corner, and seating at the bar.

You have GOT to check this place out!
