A friend referred my wife & I to Sushi Planet in Moorpark saying this place had such amazing food. As we found out she was correct. We started with the Garlic Edamame appetizer and I could easily say this was the best Edamame I’d ever tasted by far due to the garlic seasoning. We also had the seasoned calamari rings and loved the sauce that it come with. From there we had the beautiful presented fresh oysters, Black Snapper Sushi, the Albacore Delight Roll and Sushi combination plate. We found that all the seafood was very fresh and some of the best in Sourthern CA. The atmosphere was clean. The staff and owner were attentive and very pleasant. The rest of the menu looked delightful with so many choices so we can’t wait until we return.

Had a date night, dinner, with the wife (her first experience with planet sushi) and everything we ordered was amazing. The staff is friendly the chefs are great and have been there for a long time. Would definitely recommend for date or even a family date night too!

This local restaurant is truly the best in the game! Their sushi is top notch, with the freshest ingredients every single time. They never fail with the wonderful quality of service. Great ambience with a smile on all employees’ faces! Their rocket roll is superb, and the lobster hand roll is always delicious. Shoutout to the owners for always being so welcoming!!
