Have a wonderful experience every time I go to RD’s, their food is amazing, I highly recommend the fried shrimp ~ it’s the best in town! Management and waitstaff are so friendly and caring too.

A couple podnahs and I rented a Airbnb on Patrick Rd and stumbled across RD’s.
We had plans to ride into town for some fun but never made it.
We spent all afternoon and evening laughing and talking with the locals until the bar closed. Ms Bobby Lee was a sweetheart and Sunday before we headed south we got to meet Ms Marcy who is a doll. Roger hooked us up with some righteous boiled shrimp..aye-ya-yie!!

Got a frozen drink that was a waist. It might as well have said ICEE on the side of the cup. Out of the Filling Station, Cane River Commissary, and RD’s that weekend, RD’s was pretty weak.

It’s now 1/3/23. Almost noon. Google indicates the place is open, but I wasn’t going to drive down there without confirmation, so I called. Guy answered the phone. I asked if they were open. “No.” Click. Friendly as a penitentiary gate.
