Omg, I ordered my birthday cake and I am not disappointed! I usually stop in for my macaroons—maple pecan, micro macaroons—plus the almond croissant, classic croissant, baguette, cookies, and cupcakes. But this birthday cake? Top tier!

Chef Charles crafted our son and daughter-in-law’s cake this past weekend. Absolutely delicious and over the top service. I highly recommend St. Croix Bakery not only for their scrumptious desserts, we also served chocolate/raspberry and lemon meringue tarts, but for the personized service and attention to detail. The Hudson Sourdough was soo delicious I couldn’t even get a picture of it before my family gobbled it all up! A crackling outside and fluffy soft inside it was reasonably priced as well. Service was warm ❤️ The only thing I would change is that there would be seating to enjoy the goods but the space is small so they might not have room. Will visit again!

St. Croix Baking Company is an artisan bakery. The breads, professionally made desserts, cakes, phenomenal Almond Croissants, and so many other delicious treats. Their artisan breads are absolutely amazing. We love their Brioche bread. Charles, the owner, is absolutely an amazing baker, and he is wonderful. He creates perfection. Posting a picture of his latest creation for the Swifties. He made Taylor’s favorite dessert. Chocolate and caramel cream puffs! They are absolutely delicious. All of the staff are wonderful. They are THE BEST! (The almond croissants pictured, one is of the bottom half of one. The almond inside melts in your mouth. Give them a try! It will be the best specialty bakery you ever visit!

Stopped in 05/10/25 since I was at a nearby restaurant. Establishment was clean and had a calm atmosphere. Front staff was sweet and friendly. The cupcakes were dry/old tasting and nothing special about the frosting. I should’ve bought one to try first before buying more. Pistachio one was bland—nothing special. Croissant was good, pecan roll was a little dry (both not pictured here). Would have been nice to have a few chairs/high chairs so people can sit to enjoy the foods. Overall, there wasn’t anything special about this place that I’d visit again or recommend to others.

St Croix Baking Company is an absolute gem in Hudson, WI! Chef Charles offers so many delicious bread, pastry, breakfast sandwich, and ice cream options! The Hudson sourdough is the best we’ve had. The homemade pizza dough is also delicious. Every time we come in, the staff is so friendly & welcoming. Highly recommend!!!

The cake was exquisite, it was a Vanilla cake but it was perfectly balanced, it wasn’t too sweet but the icing make the cake perfect for those who love the sweetness. The decoration was also nicely made and they did it just in less than 4h.
I also ordered a chocolate croissant, I couldn’t resist the temptation to leave the store with trying something that. Everything smells and looked awesomely delicious.
The baker and owner was very nice and gentle as well as the others two person on the place.
Highly recommended, and I definitely will return. I regret that I won’t have more days this time to try more things from them, but they are a good reason to stop by in another opportunity.
