Ho King definitely wins when it comes to cleanliness, the floors were spotless! Service was prompt, and we never felt rushed, which was appreciated.
The food, however, didn’t quite meet my expectations. I asked if vegetables came in the rice and was told yes, so I requested no vegetables. What I didn’t realize (and wish had been mentioned) was that the Lo Mein also came with vegetables. The rice portion itself was small, just a little corner at the bottom of the plate which was surprising.
The flavor wasn’t bad, but it was hard to enjoy while picking through the veggies I didn’t want. Nothing major, just small details that added up. I might give it another try, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to return.

The food was amazing. Flavorful and enough to make you full. Had went here a year ago and it smelled like wet mop, food wasn’t great, neber returned until i heard it was new people. But whoever took over did an amazing job. Now it’s super clean, the workers are friendly. And the food is worth the price.

Ordered through Uber Eats. Tried for the first time and food was awful. Spent $30 on order+ delivery fee. Not worth it. No taste. Pork fried rice and chicken with broccoli. Chicken slimey, thin sheets. I’ve had much better. Did not realize they had 3.1 rating. Rightly so.

The general tsos chicken that my husband had was terrible. The chicken was tough like it was either old or over cooked. This has been our favorite Chinese in the area but we are going to have to find a new spot.

Ok so, I usually don’t go around filling out reviews but this one deserves it! I live in New Tampa, and I have to admit that it is very difficult to find a good Chinese food take out in the area (I have tried all on BBD Blvd from Bears to County Ln Rd.). I have my preferred place, but it’s like 7 miles from home. Today, I wasn’t feeling like driving so far to pick up food. I made a search for any new places and found out that this place is right across from my place. After reviewing some of the negative reviews there was one or two positive recent ones that got my attention, and one of them was from a fellow Hispanic I said, C’mon, if a Hispanic gave out a good review with so much passion, it must be good! I ordered sesame chicken with yellow beef fried (they also have brown but I have not tried it), shrimp egg-roll, egg drop soup and fried chicken and crab rangoon. I must say that EVERYTHING was delicious!!! I am so happy that I gave this place a chance and happier that I no longer have to drive 7 miles to buy good Chinese food.
Please, be mindful when giving negative reviews to a food place. Remember that your taste buds are not the same for everyone, and giving bad reviews for having to wait to take your order doesn’t count neither, that is irrelevant. I measure quantity, quality, tenderness, taste and price. This place met my expectations!

We waited over an hour for our food to not even get what we ordered. We order a Mongolian chicken and Szechuan chicken. We received a garlic chicken and a literally container of onions. We only went there since we couldn’t find much open but like come on; this is just silly.the only reason I didn’t make it a 1 star is that lady was nice and trying her best with the little help she had . They need better communication and a system that doesn’t have call in over shadow people waiting at the restaurant to order.

Ordered through Postmates. Soup had hair in it. INSIDE the container. Postmates/Uber refused refund saying they would deal w the restaurant. Never again. Deleted the app AND restaurant from ordering ever again. Neither is worthwhile. Terrible just terrible. (Yes I tried contacting them, no response).

I ordered a large order of Shrimp Fried Rice and two Shrimp Egg Rolls from HO King last night via delivery service last night and it was horrific. It was extremely salty and it made me belch all last night. I will never order food from this establishment again. They should never be allowed to stay open. I am not sure how fresh the shrimp or the grease they use to cook their food was, however it was foul. My wife could not finish half of her plate and we threw the rest of it in the garbage.

First and last time I order from Ho King. Bad experience overall.
Starting with the staff, it’s clear they do not care about their customers. With four people in the kitchen, I was successfully ignored. The woman who saw me, yet kept looking for napkins, eventually came to ask what I wanted. Looking dead inside, she took my order: Hunan Chicken, spicy, with wonton soup.
Hunan dishes are supposed to be spicy. What I received had a hint of spice, a dash of flavor, and a lot of bland. Oddly, it was very watery. The rice was overcooked.
There are too many other restaurants nearby to settle for this mediocrity.
