Hidden gem in Uptown Shelby NC. Staff are friendly and welcoming. The space is much bigger than it looks from the outside and has been beautifully renovated! The bourbon red is smooth and paired well with the best cheesecake i’ve ever eaten!

The space looks incredible hidden behind an old door as soon as you open it up you see it has been renovated and looks gorgeous. The owners are always present and very friendly. Great wines I have never heard of and even better smacks and desserts!

What an experience at Stem! When we stepped into the place, we were greeted with a warm welcome and amazing service. The owner, Crystal, let us know that the beverage menu is curated to include local wines which is a special touch. There are also non alcoholic beverages which makes Stem great for everyone. The charcuterie board was tasty and that pecan pie… chefs kiss. If you’re considering going, just do it!

My husband and I were in town and saw this place. We decided to stop and try their wine and desserts! We are so glad we stopped; Stem has the perfect atmosphere and great customer service. I had the Peach Sunset and my husband had a bourbon wine, these did not disappoint. We also had a small charcuterie board but for a small, the portions were great. We will definitely stop in again the next time we’re in town. Oh, and we took a banana pudding to go…the BEST!
