What a great experience!
Walking in and immediately got greeted and seated.
This location has the option of outside dining, they have lights, decorations, and Mexican music playing, added to the atmosphere. The lights at night create a romantic atmosphere.
We were seated, ordered, got our food and ate it in 40 minutes! Very fast compared to other Mexican food places.
We both got a different combo so we could try a broad range of foods for our first visit. We were not disappointed! All the food was fantastic, but the note worthy foods was the rice and beans. The beans were so delicious and I haven’t tasted anything like them from anywhere else. The rice was not dry, but was very fluffy.
The chips and salsa was very enjoyable, and the salsa doesn’t destroy my mouth.
Our waiter was perfectly attentive without being overbearing. Very laid back staff that adds a positive vibe to the place.
We bought the salsa to go, and they gave us free chips with it!
We will be back for sure.

Cute decor inside (the exterior needs improvement), friendly staff but sluggish service, and mediocre food. My dish arrived quickly but was barely lukewarm. The food wasn’t terrible but there was nothing impressive about it either. Overall, my experience here was lackluster. This was my first time here, but I probably won’t return.

Time for Mexican food at the El Rodeo in Brunswick Maine. The atmosphere feels Mexican. Fun, relaxing, causal. Excellent food. Our waiter spoke more Spanish than English which made it more like an authentic experience and fun. Another waiter came and verified a couple of our requests, so no issues. Come and have fun in this exciting Mexican restaurant.

Very disappointed in my first experience with this place. Ordered take out & paid $60 to get home and realize half the order isn’t there. There was maybe a scoop of rice, and our three orders of 3 tacos were all missing the fixings of sour cream, cheese & tomato. Came with like 3 pounds of onions on each taco & that was not anywhere close to what I ordered. Lastly they put our tacos on corn tortillas when they charged me extra when I asked for flower tortillas!! I called to express how upset I am because I live 30 minutes away and they were very inconsiderate. Very disappointing. *picture of the tacos was after I scooped off all of the onions.

Great atmosphere music and decor. The food was excellent, arrived quickly too. Large selection on menu even had a vegetarian section. The service was friendly. Eat indoors or on the patio.
Large selection of margaritas and they were made with real lime juice not the mix.

This is a great place to get some excellent Authentic Mexican food, with a well balanced menu. Often when going to a Authentic Mexican restaurant you get stuck with mostly spicy foods, but not a El Rodeo. They have plenty on the the spicy side, while still having lots of options for those who can’t eat spicy foods.
Prices vary but there’s options for every patrons budget, staff a really friendly and eager to assist. Portion sizes in comparison to the price is generously large, definitely a good bang for the buck.
Now with us being in the mist of a Pandemic, hygiene is on a lot of our minds. As the saying goes if you want to know wether hygiene is a priority at an establishment check the restrooms. El Rodeo restrooms are spotless, the restaurant feels roomie and is kept clean.
Definitely one of my first pick more often than not when eating out. I do wish the had delivery available.

This close to the coast a lot of folks would opt for a lobster place. The giant margaritas were featured at the entrance, but the food is solid and has good variety for a place this far north. Nice big patio, friendly staff and a great atmosphere.
