This is more of a carryout than it is a sit down and enjoy. Lot of people just stand around and talk with the workers more like a hangout. Their burgers are good and so are their chicken wings.

What was once a carry out corner store now has some of the most delicious and affordable food in Newport. I had the French Dip with fries and some carrot cake. The sandwich was flavorful be careful you know what veggies come on it. The fries were thick cut and crispy. Still hot after being carried 4 blocks. Finally the cake was better than significantly more expensive options. Will definitely order food here again.

I really wanted to like this place after reading how good the food was. I love little places like this, not this one. For starters, the “cook” had a cough that continued the whole time we was cooking and the other guy proceeded to tear open a pack of cigarettes right there next to the grill. I still wanted to try this place, the cook was wearing gloves. I ordered a double burger and fries with a side of cheese sticks to go, only I didn’t get the cheese sticks despite being charged for them. Maybe I should’ve checked prior to leaving but they should have as well. The fries were awful, they were hard and cooked in old grease. The burger wasn’t horrible but the mayo was. The pattys look nothing like what I saw online or on the menu board. $15 down the drain, I definitely WON’T be back.
