I was the only customer there and I waited for about 20 minutes only to receive this. It’s a little over priced. I get it. Everything is supposed to be “fresh” but damn! It ain’t all that!

Update: so the “owner” replied and basically said it was my fault for accepting the sad excuse of a sandwich. A couple of point: 1. The person behind the counter never informed me that the sandwich was “over cooked”. 2. Though it the money was refunded, why not do a better job the first time? Look, im not expert but a Cuban sandwich doesn’t take 20 minutes to make. An empanada doesn’t take 20 minutes to fry. So why the long wait? What made everything worse for me was the fact the the guy that took my order had the audacity to ask me if there was something wrong with the food. Honestly, would he have accepted what he had served to me? 3. The wait wouldn’t have been worth it because at that point I wouldn’t have a job. I only have a 30 minute break, anything over that and I could run the risk of getting fired. I’m not about to lose my job I’ve a Cuban sandwich. Again, I can’t stress this enough. Stay away from this place. “Owner” work on your customer service. Your menu ain’t that big that someone should have to wait 20 minutes for a sandwich. It’s in reasonable!!

I tried one beef and one pork maduro. They were both good they came out hot and fresh. My wife had the mac and cheese and she said it was good and gooey. Even thought I was unsure about it we split an apple cinnamon and I have to say it was really good. Service was pretty standard wait time for fresh food and they were friendly. Definitely will be back soon.

The service was great, the gentlemen at the counter was kind and courteous. I did get some ham croquettes on the house, which I appreciated. My complaint is the food. I had a beef picadillo empanada and it left much to be desired. It was bland and flavorless. Trust me I know my Spanish food and this was not at all up to the standard in regards to flavor. I would not return due to the recipes.

Best authentic Spanish food in town! The chicharon is soooooooo good and crispy. The empanadas are deadass the biggest and best I ever had. I order from here all the time but try to get it early because there always super busy. Never had a bad experience here and the staff is always on point. Friendly and always looking to go the extra mile when it comes to preparing your order. ❤️

Keep up the amazing work guys

Easily the best empanadas on the East Coast. Very crispy with tons of flavor, truly authentic. The family who owns this fine establishment were super nice and gave me some good recommendations. Whenever I’m in the area I’m definitely coming back.

The first time i was there it was Amazing but greasy which is normal for empanadas. The second time i went it was decent at best . The third time was a disaster the kid had no clue what was what i ordered two empanadas and i was the only one there he told me 10-12 mins i said ok i went to 711 and back and he says i couldn’t make them for you bc i ran out of
Gas and the kind you wanted but i had these ones so here you go and charged me
For them. Ok i said ill give it one More shot and i wish i didn’t. I go there and i was second in line 15 mins I’m standing there to learn how clueless the employees they hire are and i don’t like to badmouth anyone. The girl couldn’t comprehend a order consisting of 4 empanadas and 4 potato balls. She says i only have 2 potato balls and is messing up the order and the tots bill.. the bill was 8.63 and she took 5 minutes to figure out the change on a calculator… I’m trying to help them and the customers bc they’re getting mad and inpatient. So i order my
Two Mac and cheese empanadas and she says here you go. In my head i said that was too fast normally it’s 5-8 minutes.. i was happy it was Fast but wasn’t sure if they were fresh. I get back to my job and they were pork and whatever inside them. I go back bc i called and she knew she gave me the wrong ones and she should have brought them back to me since I’m next door at work since they’re 2 workers and the guy who was behind me was still waiting and laughed bc i was back. She gives me the two Mac and cheese and i go back to work and they were so dry, stale and a waste of money. I would never go back and it’s next door. Don’t waste your time guys!

The empanada truck has very tasty food and polite employees. I would recommend ordering the “cuban” con pollo sandwich or the chocolate and strawberry churro balls.

I really like this food truck! But, you can never locate it. They don’t update their Instagram, Facebook, or Website. How do you run a food truck business without providing a schedule to the public. Ridiculous!
