This is a great spot for sushi to go. They do have a few seats inside for dining in, but we’ve not taken advantage of that. The food is freshly prepared and tasty. My favorite is the Volcano Roll, but I look forward to trying the hibachi options as well. We also appreciate that the prices are fair. Definitely give it a try if you need a sushi fix and don’t want to leave RepMO.

My friends and I ate here and really enjoyed the food. It was quite stuffy inside and we all felt hot even though it was freezing outside. I left with a headache due to the heat/humidity inside. The steak hibachi was our favorite. The customer service was great! The prices were reasonable. I wasn’t a fan of the fried shrimp inside of one of the rolls but it wasn’t bad. They let us sample the seaweed salad and that was not good in my opinion, too slimy for my taste but I was very thankful that they let us try it before we ordered it. The atmosphere was clean but way too small and way too stuffy but we will get takeout for sure next time.

This sushi spot is not bad. We ordered the spider roll, super crunchy roll and the transformer roll. All great, the last two were fried, I loved the texture and crunch. Customer service was ok…this was our first time here and there wasn’t any introductions on simple “have you been here before?” And/or “Let me know if you have any questions?” We also felt everything (food orders) is meant for to-go, they have limited seating options. The place also needs improvement on smell, it’s a small shop and smelled like bleach when you walk in. Overall it wasn’t a bad experience, just needs improvement.

I called in a food pick up from here last week. We got two The Bulls Rolls, one Super Crunchy, and one Eel roll. We also ordered the Gyozas and the Harumaki. I will say the food was really good. I ordered The Bulls Roll because I am not a fish person, I don’t like any of it. I was pleasantly surprised with The Bulls Roll, and we are actually planning on ordering here again this weekend! The gyozas were okay, they were not the best I have had, but the Harumakis were very tasty.
My one warning, and my reason for 4 stars, is to check your order before you leave! I live about 30 or so minutes from Republic, and I am one of those people who always has something missing from my order, so I made sure to check our bags as soon as I got to the car. We were missing one of the Bulls Rolls, I did go back in and they fixed it no issue, except for the fact that it took like 10 minutes longer to get the new roll. I am glad I checked, because I would have been super disheartened to have driven all the way back home to see my $10 roll was missing out of our bag.

I really want to like this place but as they say.. three strikes and you are out. I got the Republic Role and it was pretty bland. I also got a side of noodles. It had almost a chemical taste. It has been almost the exact same every time. Super nice people and if I am just dying for sushi and don’t want to drive to Springfield, I would consider coming back, but probably won’t.

Dinner was so delicious! We got the shrimp hibachi and chicken hibachi. Both were yummy! The shrimp were so flavorful and HUGE- which you don’t often see at hibachi restaurants. The yum yum sauce is so tasty, and the portion of rice you get is massive! It’s definitely worth the price!
We also got the shrimp tempura roll and it was as great as the hibachi! Fresh ingredients and good size too!!

I’ve been to this place 5 or 6 times now and although the service is never great the food and the prices was but the last few times I have went it hasn’t been the same. Just lack of flavor and meat and vegetables. Such a shame I really enjoyed the food before.

I love the cart in monett and this one is just as awsome. Priced good with a variety to choose from. The wait time was good too. What I like best is I can watch them make the sushi.
The only thing that I didn’t like was that I specified 3 times no wasabi but it was in there anyway and there were no fortune cookies. (my favorite part)

The food is terrible. The quality and quantity. I was given a HUGE amount of rice but barely any veggies, shrimp, and steak. The steak has no flavor and the shrimp was overcooked. Will not be returning.
