This Dickey’s BBQ location is nothing short of fraudulent. They accept online orders, charge your card, then close their doors without warning. No call, no email, no refund, just silence. When you try to reach them, the phone rings endlessly or goes unanswered.
This isn’t poor service; it’s deception and theft under the guise of a restaurant. Dickey’s corporate should be ashamed to have their name attached to this place. If you value honesty, decency, or your hard-earned money, do not order from this location. You’ll get nothing but frustration and a lighter wallet.

Ordered online via their website 9/2, order supposed to be ready 2:30 PM. I go in, location isn’t open. This one is located inside of a grocery store. The single employee there said they were closed because they had to have a day off, and I get it; however, the website needs to be corrected so orders cannot be placed when the business is closed and if there is not enough staff hired to operate the store. He took a picture of my email/order number and reassured me they’d process my refund the next day, and I have not gotten my money back. Even if the employees came in and reviewed their online orders in some type of production suite or their computer and realized something was wrong? Still hasn’t been processed. I have tried to call corporate. I have attempted to email corporate more than once at their retail, public relations, and guestexperience email addresses. It’s been almost a week and I want my money back. EXTREMELY disappointed because I was visiting from out of town and we don’t have Dickey’s back home, and then I was out money for a lunch and hungry while starting to drive home.

I ordered a holiday luncheon to be delivered on December the 9th @ 11:45 am for a physicians office. This was placed for the EAST POINT location . My credit card was charged on December 3rd in full. I began checking on my order via telephone at 12:15 ( 30 minutes late) I called to check on the ETA for delivery. I have not received a call back from the store nor the corporate headquarters. There has been no attempt by the franchisee to return my calls or deliver the food.
I understand that humans drop the ball at times and mistakes happen. I do not understand why they will not return my phone call.

I placed a order Saturday Dec 14th for pickup. When I arrived at the Dickeys spot in the back of the grocery store (SMH) there was no there and it looked abandoned. The grocery store manager didn’t know anything but they was no one there and no phone number to call locally to see what is going on with me order or my money that you all took through the app. I am a big fan but this experience is ABSOLUTELY WRONG. So I showed up today Sunday Dec 15th at 11:00 AM when it’s says the store is open and still no one is here. To make a long story short I would like either a FULL REFUND or my order sent to a close store to the location that actually care about the Dickeys brand since the East Point is poorly representing you all. And they need a better location or just close this one down completely and take it off the app entirely.

Located in the back of a local grocery store. Big portions. Barbecue pulled pork was nicely cooked. The fried okra was well seasoned, fresh and crunchy. The baked beans were good as well. The combos normally come with one side and a drink but the cashier offered to let me get one additional side instead of a drink.

It is so hard to find good bbq outside of Texas. I am from Texas where bbq is in abundance so when I travel for work out of state, I get disappointed quite a bit. This particular Dickey’s is inside of a grocery store which made me question the integrity at first. The gentleman running the Dickey’s was very nice and pleasant to converse with. I ordered the brisket and jalapeno sausage as meats and then the sides were mac n chz, potato casserole, and green beans. The only negative I can say was that I didn’t get my mac n chz, but instead got the baked beans. These were still good. Everything was moist and had really good flavor. On my way home I stopped at another spot to get different brisket and ribs. The other place did not even compare to Dickey’s! Being inside of a grocery store did nothing to take away from the integrity of the establishment. I will be going back to this Dickey’s location for my football Sunday bbq! Thanks guys!

This food is always great. But it was delivered by a door dasher wit no common sense. Her name was Contressa. It was the worse delivery experience ever. I gave her one star and that was generous. I told her that her tip depended on the delivery experience of course she got no tip because I had to walk to the front of the building to get it. I would tip her one wooden penny, a pirate coin, a monopoly dollar, and one show biz ticket if I could.

This establishment is the perfect combination of smoked BBQ, excellent sides and an outstanding grocery store all in one. Very convenient store/smoked BBQ take out. The city of East Point needs to protect this establishment by all means. This establishment also has superb customer service.
