Took my family to come and try this new spot. It’s a quaint casual fast food like atmosphere, which was fine. The staff was super friendly and they had a good selection on their menu of different burgers crispy chicken sandwich sandwiches cheesesteak sandwiches all with different twists. They have different types of fries which are also made fresh from potatoes and cooked in tallow. They don’t use seed oils, which is a plus. Their burgers were amazing. The cheesesteak was perfect and we absolutely love the elote fries!!!!!! And you can’t forget their crispy chicken sandwich. My kids loved everything and it didn’t break the bank like some of these other Staten Island spots. We will definitely be coming back.!!!

My boyfriend and I tried the buttery over the weekend, and even with it being delivered, it still arrived hot and fresh! The cheesesteak, smash burger and fries were all so delicious. I also love that their fries are fried in beef tallow. As a long time customer of Herbal Dispense, I’m so glad I tried out their sister restaurant. I highly recommend stopping in here, and also getting a nice coffee or matcha next door at Herbal!!! ☺️

Clean restaurant with friendly, trained staff
Got the classic cheesesteak to go and ate it immediately after the drive home (10-12 minutes). Food came out fast but there were no pending orders when I gave mine.
Great flavor and cheese. Properly stacked and the beef tasted good. The classic might be a little spicy for some because of the cherry relish.
Not chewy at all and everything tasted married together, the onions were soft and paired well
I liked the bread but nothing special. It definitely did it’s job holding the steak

The owner of the establishment you can tell has huge passion for the food and service industries, so I love ANYTHING & EVERYTHING chicken here I’ll say that starting with trying my favorite the classic buttery chicken sandwich not spicy buttery sauce very flavorful can get with pickles Coleslaw thank me later also ask for a side of the home made Chipotle sauce how delicious that is…. now the other items on the menu are definitely worth your money and if you craving treats with savory meats like their smash burgers or even classic hot dogs where they split two dogs & put yummy sauce & relish in there my gosh flavor is amazing in that also . The decor is invited with checkered vibe and always spotless clean now next door they have a tea shop right next to them and they’re wonderful also . It’s right along a convenient strip where there’s many places for food & drink but The Buttery leaves an experience in your mouth that’ll be craving more in no time!! now all that being said and giving props where props are due. Right now things here are truly pricey I love coming here but sadly I wouldn’t be able to afford coming as much as I would like too and cash is king remember that so when going here please keep that in mind and have cash to save a little ❤️ we all going through some rough times right now that being said support local businesses that care and strive to feed our communities ♡♡ All the best Maria says buon appetite ❤️

Had the buttery for the first time the other day, everything was super delicious. The eggcellent burger was a perfect smash burger, and their sauce is amazing. The OG chicken sandwich tasted super fresh and was well-seasoned. The order of cheese fries was enough for 2 plus leftovers, which were just as good. Definitely recommend this spot to fill any burger craving. Also, the coffee next door at Herbal Dispense is the best!!

Great burgers and you can taste the quality of the meat. We had the fries, cheese steak and burgers. Love that you can add a second patty for $3. They are thin smash burgers so on the thin side. Spoke with the owner in advance and he was able to make special fries to accommodate my daughter’s allergies. Love that they use beef tallow !! Great new place that I am sure would love your support. The young man at the register was super sweet too and took his time taking our order.

We ordered some classic burgers, the golden tallow fries, a chocolate shake, and the lemonade. Everything was fresh and made to order. After being disappointed with some other smash burger places on the Island, The Buttery really satisfied my craving for a good burger. A $20 cheesesteak this is not. The meat was average quality at best. The onions were soggy and unchopped so they are pre cooked and sitting then mixed in at the end of the cooking. This sandwich does not come close to A&S or The Sandwich Shop and both those places charge less. The bread was good and the fries are excellent. I will go back because i want to try the burger and chicken sandwich but my whole meal was $30 with a bottle of water. Service was fine. Place is clean. Location is tough.

I ordered Golden Taloh Fries and Cheesesteak Lil’ Jawns and it was absolutely amazing. The food was SO fresh and flavorful! You can really taste the difference when you order here! The Cheesesteak Egg Rolls were crispy on the outside and packed with so much flavor on the inside and the house dipping sauce with the egg rolls is a 10/10! I also want to shoutout the owner who is so kind and welcoming. It was my first time at The Buttery as a Herbal Dispense customer and it completely exceeded my expectations. I’m so glad I tried their food and I definitely will be back!
